Mousa's Spring

Such a amazing experience.
Visted this place where I'm currently staying called Wadi Musa.

Story is when Musa (as) was here; there was a drought and the people asked Musa (as) to do dua to Allah SWT that water comes. This is the exact spot where he hit staff and water came out.

The water is so pure, cold and fresh.

It's free to visit and take some water back with you. Definitely worth visiting.

A must visit place where the miracle of Prophet Musa (Moses) took place. The location is on the way to Petra and spending a few minutes here would be totally worth your while as you absorb the history of it. The water stream from the rock flows down the mountain and beyond.

Beautiful place If you like religious history. Very easy access. I just stopped by on my way to wadi rum from shobak castle and 5 minutes were enough to see this beautiful wonder.

If you go there having in mind the biblical story of Moses that it feels like a mini pilgrimage. Refreshing experience.

A blessing to be able to enter and observe how well preserved the rock is, although I recommend that tourists please bring a bottle to collect a little of that sacred water and take it back home and above all not leave garbage🙏🙏 (someone wanted bring water in a plastic bag and since he could not leave the bag in the water, obviously remove the bag and put it in a container back at the hotel.

In the entrance of wadi mousa City the holding mother of the world wounder PETRA the red rose city.
Locals from several years have been drink and agriculture this spring.

I walked from Petra visitor center to here. The water was so good. Free to enter no tickets required.

A must see place in Petra from religious point of view as well as the source of water to the ancient Vegas(Petra) of the world.

Its hard to find a parking spot nearby, in case you are driving.

Unique natural water source

Very historic place, spring of Prophet Mousa (PBUH), the water produced from this spring is distributed throughout small canals in the mountains of Petra in a very genius engineering way to reach all historic houses in Petra city.

A very beautiful place where there is clean drinking water, it is cool in summer and warm in winter💙

Mousa's Spring is at Petra, the wadi spring is called, "the wadi of Moses." This is an ancient spot and could be where Moses struck the rock for water. The springhead is under the rock, which is in a small building. Since its the springhead you can drink from it. There is granite set around it. It is free to see and enjoy.
