Silk Tomb

Just another amazing work and architecture for the Nabatean. The sensation is really amazing and you will feel that you have travel in time. You have to climb to this spot and pass by Urn Tomb than go back to the main road.

One of the most spectacular buildings in Petra

The Silk Tomb has a big is the next one after the Urn Tomb. It's entrance is altered due to erosion, but the colours of the sand stone are beautiful.
Beduin people use it as shelter. We saw somebody sleeping inside. :-)

La peculiarità di questa tomba è la fantastica varietà di colori che la roccia assume sulla sua facciata. Un caleidoscopio di colori! Architettonicamente risulta semplice, senza ornamenti particolari e dalle dimensioni minori delle altre tombe vicine.

La tomba della seta è una delle tombe più semplici a livello architettonico e ornamenti ma è "attraversata" da delle venature meravigliose che la rendono unica.
Da fotografare in diversi momenti della giornata perché cambia moltissimo in base alla luce

La Tomba della Seta, così chiamata per le varietà di colore delle venature di arenaria che la compongono, fa parte delle quattro Tombe Reali che si trovano sulla via principale di Petra in posizione elevata.

Più piccola rispetto alle altre tombe, la Tomba di Seta presenta straordinarie venature della roccia, sia rosa che bianche e anche gialle.
