Mount Hor

It's about 8km from the entrance of Petra and the views are amazing. One can see from there whole Petra, the monastery, the city and mountain range. When decent visibility, views are just breathtaking. You can also admit the tomb of Aaron if interested in Bible or history. It's worth to go there at the end of stay in Petra and see from above all the places you had already visited.

This is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Beautiful views and the shrine is unforgettable. There were several exposures on the trail and it was incredibly hot. You need to be in decent shape to do this one. It is an actual vision quest.

Hard hike not recommended for beginner hikers once at the top the view is unbelievable, so spiritual and holy make sure on the way back to stop by some middle easterns in the desert and have some hot tea

It’s my next target when I visit petra.
This time I reached al dair.
In petra you need at least three days to visit every spot there.
To enjoy more u should walk more and more.

يقع جنوب مدينة البتراء يبعد عن مركز الزوار تقريبا 3 ساعات مشي .. أحد أهم الجبال والمعالم الموجوده في المدينه يمكن مشاهدة المناطق المحيطة من جميع الجهات لمسافة أكثر من خمسين كيلو متر .

Вершина горы Джабль Арун господствует над всеми прилегающими по высоте. Видимо по этому её выбрали для могилы пророка Аарона. Подъезд к началу подъёма на автомобиле, но только класса джип. Подъём местами крутой, но зато пейзажи великолепны. Наверху можно осмотреть саму могилу Аарона, которая сейчас мечеть, а так же раскопки византийской церкви и арочный водосборник.

לרוב הדעות מצוין כאן מקום מנוחתו של אהרן הכהן. יום פטירתו א מנחם אב. הגעה בנסיעה קצרה 4*4 מפטרה וטיפוס קצר שיתאים כמעט לכל אחד. שימו לב כי היסטוריונים מייחסים את הקבר למערה הפנימית ולא למצבה שבכניסה.
