We dined at Captains Restaurant, and I must say, overall, the cleanliness of the tables and floors was impressive. The head waiter played a pivotal role in assisting us in selecting the best fish option, and we decided to complement it with some succulent shrimp. The food was not only enjoyable but also served with a satisfactory level of service.

While our waiter may not have been flawless, the head of the waitstaff certainly made up for it by overseeing our order and ensuring that everything was up to par. I look forward to revisiting Captains Restaurant during my next trip to Aqaba, appreciating the good food and the dedication of the head waiter in making our experience memorable.

Ate here solo and the staff were absolutely brilliant - attentive without being overbearing. They recommended the seafood tagine and it was simply divine! Delicately spiced with really fresh prawns. Portions were generous so have packed up half. Complimentary Arabic bread (hot and crispy), tea and chocolate cake. What more could one ask for?!

Staff were extremely helpful, and veeery polite. They were even kind enough yo have gotten a free scoop of ice cream for my nephew.

This review is for the seafood restaurant >> One of the finest sea food restaurants in Aqaba, if not the best. They have a diverse menu of seafood options, and their service is top-class and fast. They have group meals, and their pricing is average. Staff are friendly. They accept payment by cash or card. They have street parking, but could be challenging.

Such a great dinner. Although it's sea food restaurant I tred to make change for it. The futtchini pasta is more than delicious almost like in Italy. The service here are perfect and respectful. Such night.

Very generous portions and super tasty sea food! Went without any expectations and was surprised by the amounts of food and the variety of mains and appetizers for a very reasonable price! Staff were welcoming as well.

Fattish salad blew my mind. Tawuk was very good as well. Juice was freshly squeezed. Fabulous service but interior could have been better.

The food its very tasty, fresh fish, u can choose the fish u want to eat, and the chef will cook it for you. We receive nice appetizer, desert and tea from the house. Friendly and helpful staff, for me its the best restaurant in Aqaba. And we try a lot.

I would like to thank everybody working at this restaurant. For which the food was very great and the services, the atmosphere was great as well. As the music I will definitely come back soon as possible. Thank you very much for everything you've offered

This was our best meal in one week in Jordan. You could easily eat there every day since the choice is wide and food very delicious. Also, the portions are very big; we could not finish what we ordered despite being big eaters otherwise. You get a starter with bread at the beginning. Luckily, we were advised by the waiter to take only one salad as a starter (Caesar salad). Nevertheless, it would be enough to eat only main dishes. We were very satisfied with what we ordered: 1. curry bowl with rice and 2. beef burger with potatoes in tahini sauce. The personnel was very friendly and helped us to choose and advised about gluten free options. Moreover, they were ready to make some adjustments if necessary. Further, the owner came by a few times and asked if we are okay. Six starts rather than five given!

Really excellent meal! We had one of the catches of the day- a grouper- which was cooked extremely well in a flavourful mix of spices and came at a reasonable price. The meal was presented well and came with lots of sides and sauces. The staff were friendly and hospitable and treated us to dessert and tea on the house after our meal. It was a truly satisfying meal and definitely worth a visit! Chokran!

The city of Aqaba sits on the Gulf of Aqaba, which is connected to the Red Sea, so seafood is abundant in this resort town. Captain’s Restaurant is a high-end restaurant serving quality seafood, and it was a great place to try out the local catch. The item to order is the Seafood Tablieyh, a set menu which started with a round of Middle Eastern appetizers: hummus, mutabal (eggplant tahini dip), Turkish salad (spicy tomatoes, peppers, and onions), and rocca salad (greens topped with onions, tomatoes, and sumac, and tossed in a lemon vinaigrette). I especially liked the creamy, nutty hummus, which went nicely with the thin pita bread that came on the side.

The appetizers themselves were excellent, but I could hardly believe my eyes when the main course arrived at our table. The waiter carried over a five foot long wooden tray at the center of which were two whole local fish and eight head-on shrimps, brushed with an herb marinade and grilled to perfection. The head-on, white-fleshed fish were nothing that unusual but were so fresh and flavorful just as they were. As if that weren’t enough, on one side of the tray was a bowl of sayadeyah, a local dish made of long-grain rice cooked with fish broth and spices; and on the other end was a bowl of breaded calamari rings! Both of these were delicious as well, and this seafood feast meant for 2 people (but could easily have fed more) came at just 30 dinars! This set menu was definitely a steal given both the quality and quantity of food, and the service here was super friendly too.

This is one of my happiness experience, the restaurant is located at the city centre, very clean place , staffs are well educated they run the business smoothly.
