The facility and staff are very well equipped to receive the migrating birds within their natural course without intervening. I highly recommend visiting this facility especially by locals and schools.

This is hands down my favorite place in Aqaba. I didn’t know what to expect when I went there but the experience was just amazing.

The tour guide Mohammad was so great and we had a really good time.

I had a good time at the bird observatory. I was there all by myself and had all the time in the world. When going there, you’re driving through a checkpoint, since it’s close to the border. Just make sure to bring your passport. I saw a lot of cool birds that I really wanted to see while in Jordan. I was here in 2nd of January and saw: flamingo, Palestine sunbird, African green bee-eater, wigeon, spotted redshank, laughing dove, white-spectacled buulbuul and some more! If you’re a fanatic birder, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Excellent place to see a large variety of birds especially during the migration, Feras the manager is a top bloke who will help you with any thing you need to know about the wildlife and birds around Aqaba...

We went for bird watching in Ayla golf area leading us was Mr Frias Rahahleh, we finished the tour and went to the observatory, to see the birds before sunset. The information were rich and we saw variety of birds. I hv seen on TV some of them so it was really nice to see them in real life.
It was really well worth the trip.
