I was christened in this church as a baby and attended church here until I left Jamaica in 1971. My great grandmother, Rosa Murray attended this church. She passed away when she was a member of this church. Her funeral service was held here at the Riversdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. My brother and I went to church here. My aunt Rosa used to play the organ here. I have many fond childhood memories of this place.

Great Church-used to go there as a kid with my sister and aunt. Studied memory verses, ate lunch on tombstones out the back of the church.. this was probably in the early 1960's

About Bog Walk
Town in Jamaica

Bog Walk is a town in the parish of Saint Catherine, Jamaica. In 1898 work started on a hydroelectric power plant on the Rio Cobre near Bog Walk. The plant was completed the next year and used to power Kingston's tramway system. In a June 1904 accident, 33 workers died while cleaning the huge water pipe feeding the power station. The plant, one of the earliest in the Western Hemisphere, was closed in August 1966. source
