Hotel VerdeMare

If you are wondering why all of the reviews are either 5 stars or one star, read on.
VerdeMare is by no means a hotel and the photos available here do not represent it. However, on booking.com there are about 50 very accurate photos of VerdeMare so you can see them there (and also I'm uploading some of the most interesting ones here).
VerdeMare is the cheapest available place to stay in Trapani, so if you're traveling on a budget and don't have high standards or expectations, think no further and book as there are no major dealbreakers like bedbugs or impossible to reach location (in fact, the location is perfect, on a central yet quiet street).

However, if you are particular about cleanliness and comfort, you may not find yourself fully at ease at VerdeMare as in general, the cleaning is very superficial, the beds aren't the most comfortable, the interior design isn't the most tasteful (although we learned to appreciate its chaoticness), the three flights of stairs leading to the rooms aren't the safest, the smell in the rooms isn't the gratest (which is ok in the two rooms which have windows because all you have to do is open them, but what about the one room with no windows, and yes, there is such a room there), the organization isn't the smoothest (the host made us and some other guest switch rooms in the middle of our stay because of some confusion with the booking) and the walls aren't the thickest...

But if you are willing to look past all that you will love VerdeMare for its price, its charismatic Sicilian host, its surprisingly well equipped kitchen which will enable you to save even more money on going to restaurants, the supermarket pastries, coffee, tea, milk and cereal available for breakfast, the wonderful terrace on which you will be able to enjoy your evenings, your breakfasts, etc., the washing machine available to be used by the guests, the controversial yet somehow likeable interior design, the very unique elevator system, the excellent location (right in the heart of the old town and super close to the sea), the rooftop area where you can hang your laundry like a true Italian or enjoy the view of the city...

In summary, VerdeMare is a place I would definitely like to visit again and hopefully some day I will.

La camera n°2 è piccola, ma abbiamo l'aria condizionata e tutti i prodotti da bagno, c'è una finestra in bagno, la pulizia è ok, zona ottima, buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Al contrario di ciò che scrivono io mi sono trovata benissimo.pulito. cortesia .anzi mi sono dimenticata dei pantaloni e mi hanno avvisata subito...ce ne fossero dei posti così.vicino al mare servizi ..prezzo ottimo..andateci è un piccolo nido di pace.grazie alla prossima.piera Katia

Alloggiato per qualche ora giusto per riposare prima del viaggio a un ottimo prezzo..

Dormito in camera con 2 lettini che aveva disponibili 2 bagni in comune con altre 2 camere. Asciugamani strappati e non profumati. Disturbo del sonno con luce accesa alle 2 di notte dal vicino di camera che andava in Bagno. Poca cortesia dall'addetta alla reception. Pessima esperienza.

Ecco non c'entrano nulla!
Quando siamo arrivati non c'erano indicazioni, non c'era nulla, la signora doveva ancora arrivare...
Apre la porta e troviamo delle scale sporche con una struttura ridicola.
La signora non aveva ancora sistemato le stanze e noi dopo 4 ore di viaggio non ci siamo neanche potuti sistemare prima della conferenza.
La sera tornati in albergo ci rendiamo conto dello scandalizzante sporco sulle coperte.
Ecco forse per un giorno si può pure fare io per sicurezza ho dormito con il viso sulla mia maglietta che copriva il cuscino.
Non ritornerò sicuramente.

Non servirebbe nemmeno sprecare tempo, tanto è imbarazzante sto "posto": viaggiare è un sogno che a volte può volgerei all incubo!
Beh.... unica nota positiva, nonché relativa puzza, la vicinanza ai traghetti.
La signora, ulteriore eufemismo, fa quel che può (x creare confusione e voglia di fuga)

Sapevo che sarebbe stata una camera piccola ma il vero problema è che non ha finestre quindi non ci si respira e, per fortuna c'è il condizionatore ma non è stato piacevole dormire con quel rumore costante
