This was the first winery we visited while in Sicily, and we were not disappointed. I will say, this winery's tours are pricier than others. The food was fantastic, the presentation was great, and the wines were good, but I don't know if all that equates to double the cost other wineries charge.

Regardless, we enjoyed our tour, they accommodated our vegetarian preferences, the estate was gorgeous, and our sommelier was very informative.

We prefer semi-sweet reds, so we didn't end up buying any wines here, but we found most of the Mt. Etna wines we tried were generally drier. Although pricey, it was a great experience, it was just the two of us and we had so much fun, so would highly recommend! We visited around the third week of September.

The 5 wines plus a bonus wine requested by my wife (a sparkling white) was paired with chef creations for each wine. What a lovely time we had. The wine and food were outstanding. The sommelier was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and was very personable.

We did the wine and food tasting at Benanti and it was the best tasting we have ever done! The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were wonderful, and the food pairing was delicious. It was the most wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend to anyone in the Etna area!

We stopped on a whim and were lucky enough to get in on a tasting but this place was amazing. We did a wine tasting with food pairing, everything was delicious and perfect. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, we had a ball and the grounds are beautiful. Highly recommend adding this to your Etna Winery tour list!!

If you come to Sicily you NEED to schedule an experience in Benanti, this is our 2nd time visiting the Sicilian island and it has been such a great experience, the attention the installations are just delightful, Giuseppe was just the perfect host, so worth it this is a must for sure 🙌🏻

They specialize in not only wine but food pairing! They know how they can earn much money! Their signature wine, Rovittello is superb!

We spent an afternoon here, touring the winery property and then enjoying a lunch with wine tasting. The property is beautiful, and its history is fascinating and provides great insights into the area's wine-making story. Our guide Benjamin was provided by the Etna Wine School, and he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the entire process of wine making and about the outstanding wines at Benanti.

Wonderful tasting experience! We booked the tasting lunch. The staff was attentive and provided a detailed explanation of every wine and every thing we ate. The lunch was small: a couple hot snacks and a cheese and charcuterie plate. But overall the richness of the experience was worth it. The property is stunning and the wine was very nice. We took home two bottles of the Etna Bianco because it was so good!

WOW, you must go here. The wine is fantastic (the sparkling rose wine is the perfect summer wine). The food pairings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sommelier was so fun and lovely too. He did a great job of explaining the differences and was super funny too! They even helped us get our car out after we got it stuck haha. Oh and the property is GORGEOUS!!

Wine & Culture experience at Monte Serra estate and vineyard a true landmark for the area to appreciate the beauty of the Etnean nature, walk through the vines, step on the black volcanic soil and learn about how vines are cultivated and understand how choices made in the vineyard contribute to the quality of a wine.

I attended a wedding here so got to experience the full package of the Estate including the grounds, the wines and food. It is a magnificent establishment and they are clearly super-professional in every aspect of what they do from their own production through to catering and a great function for the couple. The wines served were very good and food delicious. It is meticulously well maintained and you get the feeling they enjoy what they do. Highly recommended.

Fantastic wine, beautiful facility/grounds, and a wonderful guided tasting. We would definitely recommend a stop if you're looking for Etna wineries. They made it easy for English speakers to book a tasting and took us around the grounds.

One of my favorite wineries on Etna. Their wine is just delightful. Ample parking, a great informative tour with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and delicious food! I think their wine is some of the best on Etna!! Worth the slightly higher tasting fee.

Spectacular winery and estate in Mt.Etna. We had a private tasting and exquisite lunch followed by a tour of the estate.

We were honored to be greeted by Mr. Giuseppe Benanti and took the opportunity to have our photo taken with Mr. Benanti, sporting his own Stetson which he attained on a trip to America.

Great wine tasting. Very tasty food with wine. The sommelier was great, pleasant and informative. We just had to buy some wine to bring home.

Driving through the streets of Viagrande one would never expect to find an amazing environment such as this. A glorious nineteenth-century estate, at the foot of Monte Serra in Viagrande. The slopes are covered with alberello vines and make for an incredible postcard. Great tasting and informative experience. Excellent wines from the Rosato to Nerello Cappuccio, Contrada Cavaliere and the Contrada Monteserra. The tasting rooms and the old palmento are an attraction on their own. Will definitely be back for more wine.

The wine was good but make sure to call and make a reservation ahead of time!

We didn’t have a reservation, but they were really nice and gave us a glass of wine and let us explore the property before we checked out with a bottle of wine. Even though we couldn’t do a tasting, they were very accommodating and nice.

For non-Italian speakers, they speak great English so don’t hesitate to call.

We had a pleasant afternoon here with amazing wines and even more with the amazing Sonia. If you are close by, you shouldn’t miss the wine tasting and see the mansion. We loved it and can highly recommend it!!! It was one of our highlights here in Sicily.

Make a reservation before you come! We stopped by for a tasting on our last day in Sicily and they were able to squeeze us in. The wine and food were delicious and the host of the tour was extremely personable. It was such a wonderful activity for our last day in Sicily!
