La Camogliese

Special place. Location is incredible. Food was also very good - do not miss this place if you are in Camogliese.

We came to this restaurant twice while staying at Camogli for 5 nights. We really like the food - authentic home-cooked flavours, good local dishes and friendly and helpful wait-staff. And seated next to the sea - how lovely. Of special mention is Marco, who was apologetic that we had to wait for our table under reservation and provided top notch service. (We waited less than 10 minutes.)

A glass of Prosecco was given as a welcome drink (nice touch). Then we ordered. Our food was served timely and fresh out of the kitchen. Everything tasted great. We left happy. Highly recommended and advanced reservations are recommended.

The Ciriole Di Farro Ai Frutti Di Mare is possibly the best seafood pasta I've had in my life, and I adore seafood pasta. Pasta was al dente, seafood was generous and the sauce was unctuous and piping hot.

We managed to grab a spot for lunch as dinner was booked out. The views are cracking and the service was lovely.

We had to book this place in advance. They welcomed us with a glass of prosecco. Food was good. Portions were large. I really liked their fish dishes

Wow, highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation, and definitely get the mussels as an appetizer.

Very friendly staff who gave us a generous table by the veranda facing the sea.

We had grilled mixed fish and tuna and they both were cooked to perfection. We managed to get an early lunch spot with a last moment reservation but best if you book some days in advance! Touristic or not, was really worth it.

Superb place, so special to eat there and celebrate my 50th birthday!
The staff (well 1 guy in particular) were excellent and attentive! The food was out of this world, as my husband asked for a dish off the menu and what they produced?? Fine, fine dining and so reasonable?
Such a special place, we were here 20 years ago for lunch and its just wonderful ❤

Very seldom do you find huge portion of food for a very reasonable price in the North of Italy, especially when it is seafood with an amazing view like that of Camogli.

This quaint and well attended restaurant is just wonderful. Make sure you book well in advance.
I will definitely go back to try out some other tasty dishes that caught my eye on the menu

We were not booked in advance and were offered the option of outdoor seating. I'm grateful that we accepted, as the service and cuisine were exceptional. We ordered all four types of fish, each of which was expertly seasoned and baked alla ligure , as well as salads containing a variety of greens and dessert.
I would relish the opportunity to return. Thank you!

Place was full of Italians and most of them had pre booked so a sign it must be very good. Excellent pasta with mussels, so fresh and well seasoned.

Once we ate there, we had to go back a second time! Among the restaurants we tried on the shore, la Camogliese was absolutely the best. Everything we tried from starters to desserts was a treat and the prices were right. The grilled fish was grilled to a excellent point, with all the flavors and juice kept inside. The desserts were the hidden gems; we were pleasantly surprised - definitely recommend their panna cotta and apple pie!!

Beautiful traditional Italian restaurant overlooking the sea. Enjoy great seafood and I recommend the risotto. Great choice of wine as well

The only thing I can fault is that we are unable to eat there every meal of our holiday.

The food was amazing, cooked to perfection, presented beautifully, and flavours to savour. The view, obviously sensational.

This is a must for anyone passing through.

A must lunch or dinner destination when in Camogli - seafood dishes are some of the best ever. We ate here each day of our 4 day stay.

We had both lunch and dinner here when staying in Camogli and loved both meals. Seafood is fresh, caught the same day, service was a little slow (the Italian way!), but attentive, and everything was cooked to perfection.

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful view if you can manage to get a table inside the outdoor balcony. It is covered but with a great fan system. The antipasti di mare is a must-have and I also had the grilled calamari that was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. And the staff very nice and polite. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately many restaurants along the beach side are tourist traps. Not camogliese. Everything was excellent. Even the meat. Usually this region of Italy is bad at preparing meat. I come to camogli very often. I’ll definitely come back

Very nice atmosphere, protected local vibe and quality despite very central location. They’re celiac friendly, they offered me gluten free pasta. The service was amazing. We had a young server who was very kind and welcoming. Overall, very good experience.
