Wow, what an amazing experience we had! Our tour with Danilo was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. My sister and I travelled to Soveria Mannelli as a day trip from Tropea to explore our ancestral town and to search for genealogical records. We found them right away (miraculously) at the Catholic church which helped us fill in some gaps we had in our research. We also visited the town cemetery, had a private tour of a local textile business, had an authentic lunch, and even spoke with residents in the area, some as old as 101! Danilo was an excellent driver, was patient and professional, and seemed to enjoy the experience along with us. He was also able to translate for us beautifully as we know very little Italian. We never felt rushed or hurried as we took it all in. Thank you, Danilo, we hope to come back someday!

We were first time overseas holiday makers, but Danilo /Vita Calabria tours, made it stress free. We got to see southern Italy/ Calabria that we wanted after finding it so hard to get a tour that wasn't just based in the north. The package exceeded our expectations, with a good combination of entertainment, good food and healthy walking and swimming. Can't thank him enough, and wish his business the best of success.

Our experience with Danilo and Enza in Calabria exceeded our expectatations. My wife and I have been to Italy many times.
Danilo, without a doubt, handled a 2 week private tour like no one else. He designed the tour and our accommodations. This tour showed all the beauty of Calabria and the love the Calabrians have for their beautiful land.

This is the absolutely best way to tour the beautiful rustic parts of Italy. My family was originally from Calabria so we were seeking a special way to discover our roots. Our group of 16 family and close friends did a 2 week tour last summer and had an AMAZING time. From The beautiful blue grotto of the private boat tour to the fabulous meals included on the tours and the live music and local dances that were performed in restaurants where we ate were fabulous! Meals were delicious as well as entertaining! From the youngest in our group 15 years old to the oldest 77 years old there was something for everyone and lasting memories were made that will forever be cherished ! I loved my experience with Vita Calabra Tours! While in Altomonte, Italy back in September 2018, we toured Agriturismo Le Farnie where we learned how olive oil was made and had the most delicious taste testing! We also went to a restaurant where we feasted on all the food that is popular from the region. There was live music and dancing which was very fun to take part in as well! But my most favorite was the day we spent on the coast where we had the most amazing seafood feast right on the water and we also got to experience the Grotta Azzurra and Grotta del Saraceno which were jaw dropping gorgeous! I would go back in a heartbeat. I have nothing but good things to say about Enza and Danny. Their hospitality was above and beyond and I can not wait to go back! Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Highly recommend. They arranged two excursions for our group of 22 along with transportation needs to and from the airport. Staff is knowledgeable, courteous and fun! Hope we have the pleasure to visit again.
