This train station is safe and clean. I enjoyed riding on these high-speed trains. The train station is modern with multiple platforms, and LED information boards. There are also a few places to eat inside. If you need help, there are a lot of people working at the station on the platforms you can ask. If you are traveling by train, I do recommend you download their app.

Easy to navigate, just look for the Departure board and your train number. Came from Rome, left at 7:50 AM and returned at 6:40 PM. worth the trip.

A busy station that is not too far from the heart of the city and well within walking distance to any sights that one may be planning on seeing. Trains generally run on schedule, and if there is a delay, it is presented clearly on the screen how long the delay will be. There are a number of cafeterias/restaurants/bars that one can visit along with a book store and convenience store while waiting for their train. The trains were clean and comfortable with plenty of leg room as well.

Nice experience, the security guards were very helpful. Easy access to other cities.

Get there early! We had deluxe seats with a table and charging outlet but the business seats are also big comfy seats. You just don't have that table. No bad answer. Gets you to Florence fast.

Really big station with food , shopping and we'll connected to other parts of the city.. seems safe but better to be a bit careful around the station.. There are long underground shopping zones which connect to major zones.. there are a variety of train from high speed to trams to access from here

Mmm...gave 5 stars for the station in general café and facilities...easy station to get around very busy...keep your valuables safe! & decent information board which details train arrivals and departure...unfortunately the day we went ..appears more trains cancelled than operating...🤔..but after a 30 min delay managed to catch our connection 👍

Love this train company. We rode it 4 times while in Italy. Great seats with tables if you get the business class tickets.

Departs on time and arrived at our stops on time.

My only complaint is that they don't post the track for departure until 10 minutes before arrival, which causes a mad dash for everyone to get on board.

A fast train to Firenze is the only way to travel from Rome. Clean, easy to follow and get around from the Station. A quick walk from there to HIGH end Shopping too... Gucci, Prada, Tiffany ... and more.

As with all major central train stations in Italy, it's easily navigated, as clean as a train station can be. Great architecture, marble flooring, plenty of shops for your needs, there's bars and restaurants.
There's not much more you could ask for a recieve from a train station.

Lots going on at the beautiful Firenze (Florence) station. There are eateries, pharmacies, ATMs, ticket counters, and stores like Sephora, etc.

For a non Italian, it becomes important to follow written instructions. There are these available. Be careful to read the title of the information- arrivals and departures. Italo and TrenItalia have their offices in case of any issues with train delays, etc.

Florence is beautiful, and I hope to come back again and again.

Very easy and organized to get on trains, although quite busy. Fast trains on time!

My favorite large train station. Love the available shopping and food options! The layout is efficient, which is what you want in one of the busiest train stations in Europe.

Very crowded but efficient. I wanted to change my ticket to an earlier train and had hardly any wait. For tourists, this station is separate from the tram that you take from the airport. It is the big building behind it. It was totally worth it to us to take a cab for €20 from our hotel so we didn’t have to drag our suitcases through the cobblestone streets!

To park your car in city center just under the railway station. Big and clean.

Grabbing a train is much more enjoyable now that there is an app. The downside is that you need reliable internet access on your smartphone. Paper tickets still work!

Very clean train station in Santa Maria Novella Firenze. Maybe it is too crowded due to the fact that this station is a main artery for all TrenItalia trips from Rome to Venice and somewhere else.
Lots of places to eat, there is a Mcdonalds in the area. A waiting lounge modest enough to wait for your train. The place is very well maintained and people/passengers are respectful enough and patient in waiting for their respective trains.
The platform are well numbered and you will not be confused with your scheduled train. The washroom i never checked but if you eat at Mcdonald’s, it is free to use when you show your food receipt. Inside the train, they have toilets so do not worry.
