Ristorante Birraria Ottone

I was looking for a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, and a local gentleman from a grocery store recommended Ottone. I was able to make a reservation three days in advance because it was fully booked. I was glad we made it and enjoyed the amazing food, atmosphere, and the history of this family. It was a memorable experience from Italy in Bassano del Grappa.

I recently dined at Ristorante Ottone and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional food and service.
The quality and price of the food were unbeatable; from the succulent Tuna to the exquisite Pluma di Patanegra, every dish exceeded expectations. We also enjoyed a delectable homemade pasta, which was truly extraordinary. What added to the charm of the place was the attentive service provided by the staff, many of whom are university students, carrying on the restaurant's fifth-generation tradition since 1870 together with the young lady owner. Moreover, the old-style ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it one of the best dining spots in town. To top it off, we savored a delightful Semifreddo al Pistacchio, which my girlfriend absolutely loved. Ristorante Ottone offers not only exceptional food but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere steeped in history. I honestly think it’s the best in town.

Loved the location, we sit in the first room. Food delicious, served with professionalism and courtesy. Definitely recommended! I will not missed it next time i’m in Bassano.

Great restaurant near the center of charming Bassano del Grappa. We enjoyed a leisurely Saturday lunch in September. The restaurant was full, mainly with Italians, people out shopping, etc. A very local feel. Despite the name “Birraria” more people were drinking wine than beer. Food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. A good find.

Stunning place! Very good, authentic primi, outstanding bruschette di pesce, fantastic desserts, attentive, very kind & professional staff and the overall vibe that makes you want be back here soon again!

If I could I would give 7 stars! A feast for your senses. The food extraordinary (tuna tartar, risotto with seasons vegetables), the wine list great (Pinot Noir), the desserts amazing (Amarettone something). If you are in the area DON'T miss a dinner here.

It was a last minute decision to eat here and all I can say is I am grateful for last minute changes. The service, food and ambience were fantastic! This is a 5th generation family business and their attention to detail and service is fantastic. It is a shame we cannot ear here again prior to our departure but we will be back, hopefully sometime in the near future.

Having traveled a lot around Italy and tried many places, I can definitely say that it’s the best restaurant experience ever. From the service to the atmosphere, from the starters to the dessert, it’s an absolute number one. Can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful little spot in the Center of town. I'd been there over 40 years ago as a child with my grandfather. My first beer! I took my wife there for lunch and had a wonderful delicious lunch of local cuisine. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Great service, very delicious food! I had Branzino al forno, my partner had Goulash and we both were completely satisfied with the taste of what we have ordered.

Delicious meals, friendly service, and a great atmosphere to make conversation. Definitely have the frozen vanilla custard with warm berry sauce.
