Monolite Insegna Blue Lagoon

I’m not a spa or hot tub kind of guy, but this was worth the experience. Spent a few hours relaxing with my wife after landing. You can even rent a swimsuit if you forgot one.

Mikor először voltunk 15 éve, a medencék alja nem volt kibetonozva, helyenként forró víz tört fel a talajból. A medencék fenekén vastagon kovamoszat üledék volt, amit magunkra kenve megfiatalodhattunk. 10 évvel később a medencék alja betonos volt, a kovamoszat ingyen, tálcákról volt elvehető. Nyilván egyszer ki lehet próbálni, de a szigeten hasonló jó fürdő még sok van és élményben pont ennyi sokkal kevesebb pénzér, előzetes bejelentkezés nélkül.

Waren 2 Stunden baden. Habe mich wie Cleopatra gefühlt. Es ist wie ein Bad in Milch. Klar, es ist voll; aber auf der riesigen Badefläche haben ja auch viele Platz. Die Bar im Wasser erinnert an die Erdinger Therme.

Um bocado caro, mas espectacular.

Stabiler Monolith. 👍 Steht fest und fällt nicht um. Was will man mehr?

The locals told us this was a tourist trap and to avoid. They were totally right. Lines everywhere. Screaming toddlers and little kids (I have three kids no judgement, but we thought this was a high-end spa environment. Instead we had toddlers with floaties and temper tantrums in the locker room) all in the water. They say there are fresh juices and mud masks. Half the people getting drinks are beer and Pepsi. Save yourself the money and see one of the more local and authentic hot springs Iceland has to offer.
