This is an incredible natural experience that I would definitely recommend right after you land in Iceland. The resort is 30 minutes from the airport and the staff are amazing. Everything is clean and organized. If you book tickets ahead you don’t have to wait and the whole experience is amazing. We were given free water and face masks in the lagoon. It was big enough that if you go in the morning you will have your own spot to relax without other people. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland, this is something you should do at least once.

If you visit the Blue Lagoon - and you should - this is the main carpark. A short walk from the Blue Lagoon and all the facilites.

It's a huge lot and you won't have problems to find a spot. Just be willing to walk an extra 50m or so, since everybody tries to park as close to the entrance as possible. It's faster if you drop your car further back.

There are spots for cars (big enough for SUVs), but also for RVs and the Tour busses.

It's convenient, it's safe, it's free and all you need for a visit here.

The Blue Lagoon is a tourist destination, but the staff know how to do it right. We arrived first thing after our flight from the US. At that time it was still pretty quiet and the sun was just coming up. We got to watch the sun rise through the steam, sipping our beverage while the warm water rejuvenated us after our flight. The dressing room and showers were very clean, and the tile floor heated!! The food at the little cafe was satisfying. This first stop got us ready to tackle the day and got our whole trip off on the right foot.

Large paved parking area with paved paths make it easily accessible to walk or wheel around the lagoon & admire all it’s beauty & geothermal wonder.

Easy to find. Has electric car charging stations. Well maintained. Surrounded by lava rock fields where we got a good view of the sunrise.

We didn’t have to park far. We ended up getting to park in the third row from the entrance. The place wasn’t packed, which was good. People has as be yo have an appointment to get in, which is really nice. There is a P1 parking lot but we didn’t have to park in it.

There's enough space to find a parking spot at the lagoon when you visit. The walk is just under 3 mins to enter the building

Not sure why I am being asked to review the carpark but it absolutely the best car park in Iceland, maybe the world !!

Anyway, we rocked up at 7am, I quickly put on my budgie smugglers, ran outside and I was first out !!! Just me.

Unfortunately it didn't take more than 5 minutes for some vacuous young lass to come out, grinning manically into her phone while filming herself walking backwards. Urrrgh, why ? NO ONE CARES.
Naturally I stayed in the shot. lol. So now she has her insta post filled with a hairy 55 year old bloke in it. lolzzzzz

The pool is fun. Early is best or late evening I believe, it gets busy but its tolerable. Staff seem friendly enough.

The parking place has a "strange" way to drive, so please lok exactly on the arrows on the ground.
And, because this space belongs to one of the famous sightseeing in Island, it may be very, very full.

An absolute must-visit in Iceland. There is plenty of tour buses going there from Reykjavik for transport, it is also a nice drive there from the capital. Plenty of car parking and a well maintained one too. The lagoon itself is one of the most unique experiences I've had, nothing else has compared to it in quality or relaxation. The tickets are not the cheapest, but they are certainly worth it, once in the spa there is no end time except that of closing time. Once the sun goes down too it truly is an amazing feeling. If I'm in Iceland again, this will definitely be a visit!
