Clean house and room. The water was hot/ cold and the bed comfy. Instructions were clearly provided and had no issues. Kitchen and dining area are shared with other guests. As it was our first time in this setting, we found it surprisingly pleasant to chat and share coffee with the other guests. The location is also quite lovely. We were able to walk to beach for a picnic and watch the sunset , stroll the whole town after eating at the local restaurant, and read the many fun facts of the town plaque along the way. 100% recommend.

Guesthouse Grund was fantastic! Beautiful little cabin for us with lots of space and rooms. It was amazing

Great value for the dollar considering it is Iceland. Room was perfectly set up with everything I needed and was exceptionally clean. Easy check in process, great communication by staff. No issues and would highly recommend to any Icelandic traveller.

Lovely place. Very clean and tidy. Really good quality furnishings. Rooms had everything that was needed and were very comfortable. Food provided for breakfast was very good and the kitchen was well stocked. Owner was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Helped to orientate with the area and made great suggestions. The location was great for the town of Grindavik and was easy to get to both the airport and Reykjavik.

Great place to stay and easy to find here the airport. Good rooms beds and linen. Stayed here our first night on two week trip around Iceland. Best of all we saw the Northern Lights.

A quaint place in a somewhat industrial area of Grindavik. The proprietor was kind allowing us book last minute due to some very disappointing service from Booking.com.

I swear I'd never book through them AGAIN. They left me stranded when the owner of the booked property didn't show up.

Anyway, Grund was great. While it may be not pretty, it is convenient to the Blue Lagoon and to the airport.

We stayed one night and had a great view of ocean waves from our room. Very clean and welcoming house. We will definitely come back again next time.

Ein sehr schöner renovierte Haus, das nahe am Flughafen und zu Reykjavik liegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll gestaltet und die Besitzerin sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht.
Wir bekamen sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, da wir die erste Nacht alleine im Haus waren. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nous avons logé dans un bungalow décoré tout en bois ambiance chalet. Très belle salle de bains moderne (La seule que nous ayons vue pendant notre sejour en Islande!). Endroit charmant et cosy. Accueil chaleureux. Nous avons reçu plein d'informations sur les choses à voir dans la région.

La bas , vous étés " comme à la maison" , le fricot est plein , les gens accueillant. Les chambres très propres. Toilette et douche sur le pallier.

Wir sind jedes Jahr dort für 1-2 Nächte. Können es absolut empfehlen. Sehr gemütlich und modern.

Mega tolles familiäres Gästehaus mit Nordlicht am Abend. Ein Gästehaus zum einziehen und hier bleiben.
