Hótel Grindavik

My brother and I stayed at the Hotel Grindavik in late June 2023. It was an awesome experience from the food (#4), to hosts and room. Wishing you good fortune during this time.

Stayed here one night on way to airport/Blue Lagoon. Large rooms that were very spacious, plenty of parking, small buffet breakfast and friendly proprietor. Bathroom was a bit unusual with wet room style shower so floor did get a bit wet which needed frequent squeegeeing but otherwise no concerns.

Great place if you like being with locals. Working fishing town - this hotel/restaurant is owned and opereated by a former fisherman. Ask him about his stories. I would stay here again!

New hotel, host were very accommodating and friendly. Small hotel with only 5 rooms but rooms are very big like an apartment, safe, new and clean, located in a fishing town. Our daughter turned 13 when we arrive there and the host give us an icelandic birthday wish.

Recommend highly to stay here. Would definitely go back and stay there if we go back to Reykjavik. Only few minutes away from the blue lagoon and close to the airport.

What a lovely quaint place to stay in Grindavík! The owners were very kind and accommodating and the food at the restaurant was delicious and fresh! Breakfast was included with our stay and the rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be back! Thank you :)

New hotel in the 1st floor of the Bruin restaurant. Older husband and wife own both. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. Only 5 rooms at this place so it’s not crowded.

Luxurious, silent rooms. Fantastic restaurant Bruín one level up. The most amicable hosts. Would highly recommend.

Stopped in for a quick bite and the food and service, as well as the view at the window, were excellent.

우리는 블루라군과 새벽공항을가기위해 여기를 선택했는데 위치가 우리선택에 너무좋았다. 그리고 객실은 몇개되지않아 붐비지않고 넓고 깨끗했다. 싱글침대2개 더블침대1개로 4명식구 편하게 잤고 조식은 위 레스토랑에서 시리얼과 몇개종류의 빵과 음료, 요거트, 햄, 치즈 그리고 빵에 삶은달걀과 신선한 연어가올라간 오픈샌드위치가 맛있었다. 주인부부는 친절했고 바다와 항구가 인접해있어 더 멋진곳이였다👍👍👍

Hotel completamente nuovo, stanza molto spaziosa che in Islanda non è scontato. La colazione viene servita nel ristorante gestito dai proprietari dell’albergo. A pochi km da Blue Lagoon, si trova proprio nella zona del porto di Grindavik
