A beautiful ambience coupled with delicious food and good service makes this a great dining option. In my opinion this is the best place to dine in Ekta Nagar, near the Statue of Unity. Prices were reasonable and food quantity as well as food quality was excellent. Would definitely recommend this cafe to everyone (especially for lunch & if you love Gujarati Thalis).

Had unlimited thali for lunch but couldn't eat much as there were too many items to eat... The food and service is really good and the ambience is great too... should definitely visit 👍

Must try tribal thali. It's a great experience. All workers are female from the tribal community.. very humble . service is good. Remember that Ekta tribal cafe is located at ekta nursery. You can go there with your own vehicle also. At Ekata nursery you can experience Narmada Arati in the evening. So plan accordingly before going. You can get यजमान पद for Narmada Arati for that you have to book online.

We had lunch at Ekta tribal cafe and it was really delicious. Food served was very tasty, we had gujarati thali which for Rs 220 and quantity was more than for 2 people. Really enjoyed having the ekta tribal lunch thali when we had been to this place. Authentic local cuisine. Exquisite taste and good quality food prepared. The canteen is also spacious and airy. The overall presentation is great. The staff is very courteous and polite. Must recommended place to visit for lunch when visiting the statue of unity. It's located within ekta nursery. There are few buses which take you to this place. It's difficult to even find autos. So please plan accordingly.

Welcome with Hibiscus tea, then Methi gota, Makai muthiya with green chili coriander chutney.

In main course one Vegetable sabji, one Pulse subji.

5 types of roties : Bajri Rotlo, Makai Rotlo, Roti. You cat stop eating Makai thepla and bajri thepla with garlic-red chilie chutney... Too hot...

Amazing cube shaped jaggery and pure desi ghee.

Sweets : Churma na laddu ... Sweets ka baap
Fryums : Nagli papad
Chhas ofcourse...
End with Tuar daal, Udad daal, rice

Unlimited...
Everything within truely natural surroundings...

And yes ofcourse it's not costly if you eat a pizza of ₹350...

Lovely place with amazing staff. The women working there are so welcoming and you can see on their face the excitement in seeing us enjoying their nicely cooked food. I tried the Tribal thali and it was delicious. The food reminded me of my grandmother. The place is kept clean. The ladies there will make you feel like home. They will ensure you get served nice and warm food. By far the best customer service I would say. The place is spacious and open (hut style). The place is located close to Ekta Nursery - you can buy the lunch ticket online on the SoU website or just pay their. You do need a Auto or a bus ride to go there as it’s 1.2 some kms away.

The food was very good quality, less oil and tasty.We tried the regular thali and the tribal thali. Both had the same food in addition in tribal thali there was three more items like muthia, tribal bhakhri, and hibiscus juice. They were good. Worth trying.

This cafe is near ekta nursery. It's a beautiful cafe surrounded by trees. Tribal thali is what we had ordered. We were welcomed with hibiscus tea which was super tasty. Thali had 5 different types of rotis, 3 types of sabji, dal, kadhi, pakoras, gatte, rice, khichdi, chips, papad, chaas, laddu. It was an amazing experience. The cafe is operated completely by women. Definitely pre book the thali when you visit SOU.

Fabulous local food. Simple service. Very hygienic place

The service and food Both were too nice and what is more attraction of this cafe is its in middle of nursery one can definitely enjoy the nature .its different experience. Food quality was equal to just home made.

Beautiful and peaceful ambience. There is online booking for this restaurant, make sure to have one before visiting. Food and services are very well arranged by Mahila Mandal and they very well take of the hygiene and quality of food and service.
No circular route bus from the statue bus stop, so private buses or rickshaw are available at INR 50/ adult and INR 30/ Children.

I had booked the tickets for this online through the SOU app. The structure of the cafe (actually a restaurant) as also the chairs is very much in line with the name viz. Tribal... Have attached the outer and inner photos for reference.
The serving staff (all of them locals and ladies which is a great step by the Gujarat government) were very courteous and attentive to the patrons. Lunch starts with a welcome Jaswand (Hibiscus flower) drink to be taken with a sprinkle of lemon and Butter milk or Chaas as it is locally called.
Main dishes are again local (obviously since it is a tribal dish) which included Methi pakoda, makai and jwari roti, wheat roti, muthiya bhaji, soya bean bhaji, vaal bhaji, sweet kadi, sweet daal, six types of pickles or achaaar, papad and jeera rice along with fryums.
We had opted for unlimited option however the food is very filling.
I would highly recommend this cafe all visiting Statue of Unity.
Overall a 5 of 5 especially for the serving staff and food.

Lovely place, go there if you love plants, or go there if you want to enjoy the unlimited gujrati thali at 350.

Also purchase the soaps avaliable at the stalls, the soaps are very good, they melt a little fast, but are very good.

Dont miss the 350 thali at the resturant, managed by local ladies group, hibiscus tea was something new for us, and we wanted to taste gujrati food while in gujrat, the food is not very sweet, it was good.
