Visited there during my stay in palampur. They gave me tour of the factory and show the process of preparing the tea. Tea garden is must visit. It was the main attraction for me. They have wide varieties of tea. I purchased handmade green tea and rose tea. Taste of rose tea is too good and I'm definitely going to purchase again. They offer a complimentary tasting of tea also.

We had the Himachali Dham ( traditional Himachali thali) here and it was just amazing . This cafe is part of the larger property of The Lodge by Wah. The ambience was great and we could also take a tour and do tea tasting there. The cafe is situated right amidst the tea plantations and offers an amazing view. The food was fresh and really tasty though the quantity was a lot for one person to consume. They explained all the ingredients to us and the taste was very unique. Really liked the dish made of dates as well as the one with urad wadis. I have often seen traditional meals being diluted with generic paneer or chana dishes to cater to all kinds of audiences but this one was really authentic. I had not had any of these dishes before.

Simply serene, delicious food. They have so much to choose from including traditional Kangri Dham which was a surprise. Beautiful place to sit & relax for a cuppa as well as snack or meal. They are open 10-8 Wednesday thru Monday, closed on Tuesday’s. I can’t say enough good things about the owner & the food. We ordered veg sandwich, fries, akuri, orange cake, lotus mousse, hummus & traditional dham. All were so tasty. See full menu in pics.

Absolutely brilliant. Came here twice even though we were in the area for a short time. Dining on delectable food against the picturesque backdrop of the tea gardens is a splendid experience. The Kangri Dham (traditional Himachali thali) and creamy mushroom pasta are a must try.

The Tea Room is situated in the middle of a tea estate. Sit for hours enjoying the majestic tea estate surrounding, sip on exquisite tea, have a go at tea tasting, take a tea tour and munch on some yummy food - a half day here is a little too less!!!

A must visit for anyone in the area. In fact, it’s worth a visit to this area of India to experience this place !!!

I was in trip to India and have visited a number of restaurants. During our visit to Himanchal Pradesh my brother in law took us to this restaurant. We loved the setting of the restaurant. The person at the restaurant suggested we try the Himanchali dham. Just as we started eating my son asked me what has been my favorite restaurant and I realized this was the best food I had in all the trip and needed to put in a recommendation for everyone. If you are in this area then this is a restaurant you must visit. The food was served in traditional copper plates and to say it was delicious is an understatement. Every dish was made very well. Great balance of flavor and the right spice level. My kids had pasta and sandwiches. Both of them loved their dishes. If you want to add to your experience doing a tea tasting is a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Kaveri ji for making our experience great. I would highly recommend this place whether you are interested in continental, traditional Himanchali food or are looking at vegetarian or non vegetarian food.

This plane is not to be missed if you’re in the Dharamshala-Palampur-Bir region.

Warm & hospitable hosts, scrumptious food and panoramic views of the Wah tea estate are good enough reasons to go here!

I’m a frequent visitor of the Tea Room for multiple reasons, but the main one is the Himachali Masala Chicken Curry that I cannot get enough of. The red pepper hummus is also something that I recommend everyone to try.

Ambience wise; it is probably the most idyllic cafe I’ve ever been to.

Beautifully situated in the middle of the tea garden with the majestic Dhauladhar mountain ranges in the background with the aroma of freshly manufactured tea in the air. My strong recommendation that the Tea room at the Wah tea Estate is a must visit for all tourists.
Started off with the tea tour which was very well-organized and informative, this included a walk in the tea garden and a visit to the factory to see the teas being manufactured and followed by tea tasting sessions.
Chilled out at the café in the Tea room, the Menu much to my surprise had a pretty wide selection. My order was delivered expeditiously despite quite the rush and virtually all tables being occupied. Must mention the friendly personalized service. Hats off to Kaveri and her team.
Overall, a really wonderful experience and a day well spent.
