Had a wonderful experience mixed with hospitality. Far from the rush of the town yet easily accessible to market through rental cars and bikes at a near distance. Overall very good.

Best place to stay. Very good quality room and very clean. Rate is also very nominal. You can book online. All services are good.

I tried out three hotels and I must say, the government tourist lodge in chaltlang is one of the better ones.
It will mean staying 8 mins away by taxi from the city. But you will get a large room for a couple. Hot water from the geyser will be available in the shower, bath and sink area. A taxi from here to the city will amountnto 150 rs. The stay is much more peaceful. The room price is very affordable and so is the food off the menu.

The booking now can only be done online. The booking from the front desk does not exist anymore.

1 room for a couple will cost 1000 and a room for a single person will come to 800.

There is set times to order breakfast , lunch and dinner.
Room service is available. Drinking water is available from RO filters available in the corridor outside your room.

Good initiative from government side. Lot of single and double rooms are available here. I stayed during Christmas- New year vacation and I felt so comfortable here. Located in Chaltlang, Aizawl. And they will provide food & room service.

It is a nice place to stay in Aizawl. You have excellent view of the valley and can see sunset. Rooms are spacious and the staff are very helpful. Can converse in English. The room service and dining room have a range of food to cater to all tastes. It is the best place to stay. I am staying here for a week. See the photos that I took here.

Nice and spacious rooms at extremely competitive rates. The only thing is that you have to make advance bookings as rooms are usually occupied. Also you don't get round the clock kitchen and they accept only cash. They do not accept payments from cards.

I was quarantine here for 14 days, it was amazing and there's nothing else I could ask for. The staffs were really humble and pleasant, the rooms were spacious, need and tidy. I did not pay any amount, so I'm not sure about the price but I think this tourist lodge will be the best option in Aizawl with a reasonable price.

Good rooms and ample parking space within the hotel premises. We were 16 persons travelling together on our motorcycles, we were comfortably accommodated. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Highly recommended!!

Friendly and competently reception. Helpful staff. Big, clean and bright rooms with balkony. Restaurant is attached. Possible to bring the meal in the room. Nice location and quiet. I can recommend it. I am from Germany on motobiketour in Northeast-India.

The location of the lodge is unique, surrounded by lash green mountains. Cloud and sun keeps playing all day. At night the city light seems like thousands of twinkling stars. Staffs are cooperative and food is also very tasty and cheap.

Probably the best place in Aizawl you can get in such a considerably low price, afterall the government is taking care of the place properly. Well mainted place and the staff are well trained and well behaved. Everything is just so clean here. The food is also amazing. If you are planning for your trip in Aizawl this is the place to stay, the window views are also good. Single and double rooms are available most of the time.

Room has big bathroom and has hot water supply. View from our room was awesome. We got mountain facing balcony from where u can see aizwal city covered in clouds. This place highly recommended if u visit aizwal.
People in aizwal are friendly n cooperative.
Food was also great.

It is a nice place to stay in Aizawl. Tariff seems to be the cheapest in India and service and facility wise one of the best Govt. run tourist lodges in India. Over all unlike most of the tourist lodges of other states, the maintenance of the lodge is quite good.
