This is one of the oldest and biggest temple of jodhpur. The temple is popular as Achal nath Mahadev temple and lots of people daily used to visit there and participate in maha-aarti. Here the maha- Aarti is very great and memorable which gives happiness and peace. If anyone visits Jodhpur then atleast once visit the main city and temples of Jodhpur to experience ancient Jodhpur and real taste of marwad.

It is one of the oldest temple in jodhpur. It is situated in the middle of the jodhpur city. It is a quiet place. There are statue of many god. It is a temple which have shivling made of white marble. Recommend not to plan visit to temple with car. The roads are too narrow and it is not possible to drive the car to the temple. No parking place available.

I've visited Jodhpur thrice now and ensure that a mandatory visit to the Achalnaath Mahdev Temple is on the itenary.

The temple has a large area and has consecrated moortis of many Hindu Deities, but it is the powerful Shiva-lingas on either side of the central area which the locals & tourists alike flock to witness.

The Achalnaath temple is right next to another popular temple called Kunjbihari Temple, which is also a delight to visit!

A popular tourist spot near the Achalnaath Temple is the Toorji Ka Jhalra, which is an old step-well and a major tourist attraction in Jodhpur.

This is the biggest temple for worshipping Shiva on the occasion of Mahashivratri in Jodhpur city. It is located in the old city area of Jodhpur. It has large campus, many people visit the temple daily to worship the deities.
