Amazing place to visit the huge Idol of Jain Tirthankar Parshwanath Bhagwan in the caves of Dharashiv 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 It depicts the existence and expansion of Jainism in and around Dharashiv (Kunthalgiri Tirth on the other end of the district)

The Mahadev temple has been well built and a great place for peace and scenic beauty! If the place is maintained well, it can pick up great attraction.

A great historical treasure hidden in Dharashiv erstwhile Osmanabad district of Maharashtra. The place is neglected by state government and district administration. If properly look after and maintained it has the potential to earn huge revenue. It's high time district administration or ASI archaeological survey of India look into the upkeep of the place. No ticketing or security at the place

Historic place, a must visit spot near Osmanabad. Road for four wheeler is also good. The only request to visitors is not to litter around. Please keep it clean.

It is 8 km from dharashiv . It has very long history, this caves is jain caves . This is an ancient cave . This cave is made in 7th century. This cave are made by architect nil and mahanil . In cave there was fresh water and it was clean .
Many people comes here . It looks beautiful when it's rainy season.

Best Buddhist Caves in usmanabad, hidden gem. But its very sad that its not maintained properly.

But I don't know why, few boys were shouting ,saying bad words , intentionally trying to break the serenity of the place.
If you are local it's your responsibility to take care of such historical masterpiece.
Please don't ruin image of this place and our beloved hometown dharashiv.
I request if anybody saw such kind of people please try to stop them,
If new visitors are coming to expore caves,they might get wrong idea about whole people of dharashiv.

A historic place in osmanabad...8 km outside the city

This is the only place in Osmanabad where you can go to roam and enjoy nature.

Ancient Jain Caves. Peaceful place. Do visit only in day time.

This caves are made approximately 1000 years ago. This caves are very famous in this area.
The distance to this cave from main Osmanabad City is just 4.5 km.
You will get private taxi or rickshaw to this place.
The scenic beauty of this place is worth seeing

Nice place but being miss used due to lack of surveillance by government authorities and basic facilities. Caves are in very bad state. A very beautiful temple is there next to these caves. The temple and the caves could be very good tourist spot, If developed maintained like Hathlai temple in nearby.

These are incomplete caves . Buddhist followers wanted to build caves here but because of cheap quality stone they stopped building these caves and left them as it is . Government have maintained this caves but people are doing painting and drawing their name on walls and spoiling the beauty of buildings . Otherwise everything is good and well maintained by the government

Thess caves are situated 8 Kms away from Osmanabad city in Balaghat Mountains. There are total 7 caves . The first cave is without any statue with small open space .The second cave consists of a statue with Artistic work on right side of statue. The art work is of gandharva era. The fourth cave is with open space without any statue inside. The statue in the sixth cave is damaged while the seventh cave has no statue. That this is an ancient place is shown by the caves excavated in the hill at a distance of about eight miles.there is one temple .

These Jain caves are in very bad condition need to take care of them any jain organisation need to see this
