Garobadha is a village, about 30 kms from Tura, the headquarters of West Garo Hills District in the State of Meghalaya India. A very important location as it connects three important places, Ampati to the South West, Phulbari to the North West from which you can connect to Assam and Dubri across the river Brahmaputra and Tura to the East. The place is famous for the biggest weekly market in the region.One of the biggest and busiest weekly market in the entire region of Garo Hills. Weekly market takes place every Tuesday and attracts lots of traders from the plain belts. It has one of the largest cattle and poultry trading on market days.
It is also the tri-junction with roads leading to Tura, Ampati and Phulbari. Hence all the vehicles has to pass by this market every day.
