A very historic Shiv ji temple. It's a swayam bhu Shiv temple. Village kasel previously known as kaushalya puri - maternal place of Lord Rama chandra ji. The temple is more than 2000 years old. A must visit place to worship.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh also got immediate stomach pain relief after drinking the holy water of Temple's well.

THE history of this village kasel is also linked with the sri rams mother kaushalaya visits this this temple and village was named after her -kaushalaya ,it was town in past times many times this village was reconstructed.This prachin shiv mandir less known internationally but people from nearby cities visit here ,with the blessings of shiva ,village people made this temple recontructed.. some mants from village community takes care of this temple.this is the oldest shiv mandin in india .everybody frm hindu community shud visit here nd take the blessings ...

This Shiv temple is so historical. Many historical events are happened here. Few years ago this place is a city. After the changes of time city is change into village. This village is also a nanke of Lord Ram Ji.

Every Monday morning from 6 to 8 am anyone can come to participate in shiv shringhar puja
