Mandasaru, A superbly Scenic Spot Of Kandhamal District located 10 km away from Raikia N around 80 KM from Phulbani Town..It has two spots one is Waterfall n another is night stay cottage cum View point..The cottage cost is around 3700@24hour..U have to book online for cottage.. Overall a very beautiful spot...Just Loved it..

The nature trails were amazing

No words to describe nature at its best. Just visit once and you will remember the place for lifetime. Go to view point to enjoy the beauty of the nature. You can also stay there but to do so you need to book cottage through odisha tourism website. Restuarant is also good and you will find a good menu of foods.

It's a good location for a tourist spot. Around 33 km from Daringbadi, but main problem is there are no signboards to help you find the spot. DON'T RELY ON GOOGLE MAP! We got lost almost 3-4 times. Best to ask the local people who are simple to communicate and are very helpful.
There are parking fees for the vehicle and entry fee of Rs. 10 per adult. A small park has slips, swings, etc which even the adults may enjoy! Mother Mary's statue is an added attraction. Bow before her and the proceed for the watch tower. It offers breathtaking view of the green valley below. Watch it, enjoy it, capture it. Then have muri below for a refreshment.
There are few wooden huts for tourist attractions.

It is beautiful place , very close to the nature.
The view of amazing mountain and the sound of nearby waterfall is amazing. You can stay here in wooden cottages. You can enjoy the freshly cooked food made by local cooks.
Mostly the winter night stay is amazing. Sipping a nice cup of coffee by watching the clouds evolving from the mountain is very pleasant. You can try the desi chicken curry with rice and other Currys its very tasty. In addition to you can trek to the nearby waterfall which is also very beautiful i have added some photos of the waterfall.

The local women have formed a cooperative and serve the tastiest and best dishes! The cool temperature and greenary calms your mind. Worth the visit. Cottages are available. Please prebook your meals to avoid waiting but the taste of food is really good

Amazing place...you must stay in this place for two nights to visit the magnet hill....it has own cottage and food facilities....it has park and amazing hill view point ....in one word I must say amazing to achieve the weekend goal🔥🔥🔥🔥

You won't get any signal here so don't bother trying to contact anyone. Literally no SIM will get one bar. There are particular spots where u will get one bar on BSNL. There are only 6 cottages so make sure to book beforehand. The place is very quiet and peaceful. And at night it's totally pitch black all-around the place. The camp is managed by Self help groups that is only local area ladies who cool awesome dishes (do get the recipes they r great cooks). They keep everything ready from food to drinks to bed so all u have to do is tell them beforehand and get ready to enjoy peaceful time. Do try to wake up early to see the awesome sunrise on the viewpoint.

Very beautiful sceneries. Nice stay. Cordial staff. Nice food. Village style preparation. Please do not expect professional hotel kind behavior as these as tribal village people managing that place as part of state govt social uplifting schemes. They are lovely people 0% cosmetic. Visited that place twice.

The nature will embrace you warmly hare, a very good place to stay with woods and hills surrounding you. A total offbeat place.

I had come here in February earlier.
Now, in the rainy season, the place is even more beautiful. A lot of greenery all around.
The food is awesome and the staff very good.
But there is nothing much to do in rainy season, the nearby water falls are inaccessible.
Only Jio /BSNL networks work here and it is very erratic.

The Mandasaru Ecotourism site was developed as tourism centre Odisha Eco tour project at a scenic valley of khandhamal hill area. The site included with of wooden cottages (rooms and dining ) , watch tower, flower garden, children park etc. The facility is managed by women SHG members who are a part of Mandasaru ETG. The self help group has been managing day tourism centre since last 2 years . The group is now capable of managing the site by providing room services, catering services and also guide services. All the wooden cottages are very well furnished to stay by.

You can enjoy the beautiful view from top. There is a children park with see-saw, swings etc. There are cottages for staying. The sound of flowing water was also audible at some places. You can also order food and have it there.

A real hidden gem of Odisa.We were told about this place by the manager of Deers Eco Resort at Daringbadi.
This is a geological marvel.The forest is so dense that it is a no-fly zone as reaching the interiors of this is very very difficult.Which means this place is teeming with flora and fauna of all sorts.Mandasaru has an eco tourism centre managed by a SHG of the nearby village.They are also have wooden cottages built facing these beautiful mountain and are a fanatstic place to stay at.The locals can also help you trek to a waterfall and take you up the mountain for trek and camping expedition.Roads leading to this place can be confusing,but the map location is spot on.Also the roads are not in the very best of conditions.Food arrangements can be done at the eco tourism centre.Nearest fuel station is 60kms from this place so please keep that in mind.Although fuel is available in all local shops for a premium.
