This property is an old palace that was mainly used for hosting horse.

It has a lot of walking paths.

Everywhere you go you will see peacocks and monkeys and lots of birds.

The lake was full of water and we could see the aqueducts in action.

The service here is top notch and the food is delicious. It is true to Jodhpur taste and is spicy. Of course you can ask it to be toned down or kick it up a notch. The ambiance at Kebab Konner is great for dinner.

The rooms are a little dated as this is an older property but everything was in good condition. The air conditioner worked as well.

One important tip. If you search in google map for this specific place you will end up in a wrong location. I copied the map link from their website to get to the correct spot.

The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, and the property is beautifully maintained. The service is top notch, and the food is great, do try the Chakki ki Saag

Excellent experience..Rooms okish but horse riding , swimming, riding , cycling is super experience..our kids enjoyed peacocks and monkeys a lot. Staff is extremely cooperative and good

Bal Samand Lake Palace in Jodhpur is a beautifully maintained property that offers a glimpse into the life of erstwhile royals and the culture of Jodhpur. The rooms are made by restoring old horse stables and are aesthetically designed. The food is delicious, and the dal makhani is one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambience is perfect for a relaxing getaway amid nature. The property is gorgeous during the monsoons and offers views of rain-washed natural beauty in all corners. It is a splendid experience to visit Kebab Konner during winter when the warm and hospitable staff serves food by the fire. We savoured the most scintillating views of the Bal Samand Lake and the surreal sunset from the Sundeck and enjoyed the nature flanking our sides together with the sounds of birds as we walked along the many beautiful trails of the property. Overall, a delightful hotel and one of my family’s favourite getaway places.

Very nice hotel, beautiful swimming pool, amazing garden and amazing horses. We fel in love. Congratulations to all of you. The rooms are clean and confortable. The restaurant was good but a bit expensive (the wine was expensive).

Balsamand Lake palace is a heritage hotel located near the Mandor area.
It's beautiful property with 2 types of rooms the Garden Rooms & the Palace Room.
It's a lush green area with lots of birds and wildlife in the middle of the city if you are Nature Lover and looking for a luxury stay in Jodhpur this is one of the best options.
They have a beautiful pool, indoor and outdoor restaurant (Kabab Corner an open kitchen restaurant in the garden) The food is great.

Loved it. Bal Samand Lake place is a wonderful Heritage hotel a half hour from the airport and 20 minutes from the merangarh fortress. The place has beautiful grounds with many birds, monkeys and bats. The restaurant is competent and th ee staff are excellent. Ms Kajal especially really made our stay special. A great base to explore the area and a top spot to just hang out. I will certainly return in hotter weather to enjoy the pool and grounds. They made me fresh mirchi vada for breakfast on request.

The excellent service by Mr Surendra Pal Singh ji at the garden restaurant was just amazing. We were there to celebrate 75 th birthday of my father in law. We experienced a total customer delighent.
