Shri paravasudeva Perumal temple,kottai Dharmapuri

Not a big temple, but seems to be historic. Temple is maintained very clean and we can have good peace of mind there. It's situated very next to Sri Mallikarjuneswarar Temple (Kottai Kovil) in Dharmapuri. It's believed that the temple was built by King Mahendra Nulamban.

In moolasthanam, 7 to 8 feet tall Paravasudeva Perumal is seen in sitting posture with Vara Mahalakshmi Thayar on his thighs. We can also see seven headed Adhi Seshan, Garudan and Hanumar there inside.

There is separate statue of Sri Baktha Anjaneya inside the temple premises. Vilva tree and Neem tree are sthala virutcham here.

A temple which is included in the list of 108 Divya Desam. You will see Maha Vishnu in a pose of Hiyagriva sitting with Thayar next to him. Average sized temple with good space. Doesn't look too old because it is maintained well I believe. Abhisheka. And darshan eas good. Poojari was pronouncing every mantra very clearly and patiently. I liked the calmness in him while pronouncing it. Overall blissful darshan. Must visit temple.

One of oldest shiva temple, pandvas visited to offer their prayers to regain their lost kingdom, goddess name is kamaachi, her shrine is above lord shiva, separate shrine is there for kalabhiravar, in Shree chakara form. A hanging pillar is found in shiva temple, and on roof Astha chakara are placed.

Very beautiful perumal temple in dharmapuri. Paintings are nice. Very recently kumbabisegam done. Must see place in dharmapuri.

It is one of the ancient temples of TamilNadu located in the Dharmapuri town area. The temple has a hanging pillar, where you can pass a piece of cloth and get it on other side. It is believed that an underground tunnel exists from this temple to the Adhiyaman Fort several kilometres away. You will definitely get a feel of serenity and calmness when you are in this temple complex.

Located nearly one km from Bus stand. Very calm place. One of the 108 Divya Desam(திவ்ய தேசம்). Sufficient parking facility and traffic free area. Mind feels peace and calm once getting inside the temple

Oldest temple in Dharmapuri, which is build in 7th century, you can find Lord Shiva here has the main God (sannidhi), and nearby Ambhal Sannidhi (Kalyana Kamatchi) Ambhal statue or sannidhi stands in the above the Sannidhi of Lord Shiva, which means Lord Shiva has given preference to Ambhal here. In shiva sannidhi we can find the hangging piller which is standing with any support from many years.

KALYANI KAMATCHI AMMAN KOVIL.. locally known as KOTTAI AMMAN. The temple priest here is cordial and says that this is one of the early days temple by the Hoysalas. The timings are 6am to 8pm with break between 12noon to 4pm on all days..

Well place to devote the most of the divine Gods placed here. Peaceful atmosphere around the temple.
