Ganesh Bakery

Very famous bakery in Tuticorin town. Speciality is Macroon, a sweet made of powdered cashew nuts and sugar. Other that I liked was Onion Stick. See the photos posted along with this review. The price might be slightly on the higher side than other bakeries, but I thought it is worth. The downside is the location. It is neither close to the two bus stands nor the railway station. One should make an extra effort to reach this bakery. I am seeing this bakery for many years, and it is always busy. Most people buy something from this bakery while setting out for journey. Packaging is impressive for take away.

My trips to the port town of Thoothukudi/ Tuticorin are never ever completed without a customary visit to this iconic bakery in town centre. From a metro dweller's perspective, when seen from outside, Ganesh Bakery could be perceived as a modest one. Just enough space for some 8 people to stand, & one cannot enter the bakery too. Neither is there space to sit & savour the food. But, the quality of products they churn out is simply WOW.

Best macroon shop in the town. Most of the bakery items are fresh and tasty. This shop is very famous around that area. Very little parking space but you can get all the items quickly. We bought macroons and bun here.

I feel this is the best place to buy Macaroons in Tamil Nadu. Amazingly good quality & taste. Their plum cake & butter biscuits are also very very good. Also, do not miss buying their Ghee Kuchi Mittai it is just too good and everyone really loves it. Another good thing about Ganesh Bakery is that they have most of the items pre packed in different quantities like 250g, 500g etc.

Cozy old bakery outlet selling the authentic and tastiest macaroons in Tuticorin. Unlike other shops these guys make the best tasting softest macaroons in the town. Most recommended to try.

Best bakery in Tuticorin. The macroon biscuits sold here are unparalleled in taste and flavour. The plum cake also tastes delicious.

My neighbours had bought Thoothukudi macaroons, I loved them so much I ordered from them again to Bangalore. They taste fantastic!!

This bakery is on a different level. Don't judge by its vintage look on the front. The Thoothukudi Macaroni as well as the bread bought here is so unique, of high quality and delicious. It's so busy shop. People and tourists are thronging here, by this we can understand how taste the baked items sold here. I wish to see such bakeries in Chennai elsewhere in Tamilnadu. We will buy a bag full of items from this bakery, when we visit Thoothukudi next time.

The most renowned place for the famous thoothukudi macaroons. The macaroons are very good, made from cashews and sugar they are not traditional French macaroons, but something unique to this town. Ganesh bakery has more sweet stuff than savory, the peanut jaggery sticks are great too.

One thing that has not changed in the last 3 decades in Tuticorin is ganesh bakery and the taste of food items produced by them... Though they have added a lot of new item over time... The macroon, rich plum cake and kara biscuit are my favourites

Wow wat a Macrons is that really super 250grams is for 75rs as on 19/10/21.really I loved it suuuuuuper don't forget to try once in life time. And also try there WIYN Biscuits super if r going to Tiruchendur from Bangalore this place is a must put stop

Completely the best macroons, one my friend native from the place got this macroons for us... it tasted awesome.. everyone from my house likes it.. not only salt is famous here... even macroons are good as well... keep up.. I wish they expand their business to Chennai and Bangalore.. they will get very good market.. :)
