Sri Swayambhu Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Devastanam, Kanipakam

I recently visited the Sri Swayambhu Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Devastanam, and I was very impressed. The temple is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I was particularly impressed by the Recent Development activities, which are being Done. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this temple to anyone interested in Hindu culture or looking for a place to relax and reflect.

Sri kanipakam swayambhu Ganapati temple is one of the very famous temples in south India. Temple renovation has made a lot of good changes, inside temple, queue complex and premises for the benefit of devotees.
Ample parking space is available and also I suggest trying annaprasadam (free food).
Must visit places within this temple devastana is Sri mankinata temple , varadharaja Swami temple and koneru.

Temple timings open at 4.00A.M CLOSED AT 9.30 P.M

Famous and ancient temple located around 12 kilometers from the chittoor town. It is believed that Lord Ganesha's idol here gradually grows in size every year. Don't miss it if you are into temples and stuff.

The place might be crowded during holidays, festivals which will eventually increase the time of Darshan.

Additionally when you visit the temple, you should definitely try Masala Soda and Bhel Masala available within the temple surroundings, They are tasty 🤤😍

Great place .....Near Tirupati - Bengaluru highway...The road is good..A lot of parking space is there....Rooms also available here.....Along with free darshanam (which takes 25 min on the weekend.),.We.have sheegra darshanam (150rs) and athi sheegra darshanam (250rs) for very fast darshanam...This temple is swayambhu ...The temple is renovated now...Good architecture...This temple is famous for pramanalu...Must visit places in Andhra....You must add in your Tirumala trip...

This was the second time I am coming to kanipakam, there are lot of improvements happened for temple infrastructure and I liked a lot.its really peaceful spending time here.Childern like the manikantreswara swamy temple beside the main temple because it has lot of big idols looks so colourful.

Very peaceful Vinayaka Temple very close to the Bangalore - Tirupati Highway. Just 3 Km detour and 1 hr for darshan. This temple is a ‘Swayambhu’ means self-manifested or no one knows the origin of. It is a relic in Hindhu culture. In and around the district devotees bring their new vehicles to perform a ‘Vahana - pooja’.

Divine place but felt the workers over there create there is a big queue and push people to buy special darshan tickets. This may generate revenue but it is not a good sign.

Also please don't miss seeing Siva and perumal temple near by.

Great temple.. In front of temple there is pound it's amazing visible from outside
But one thing there is no free dharsana for pilgrim's

Very powerful Hindu lord Ganesha temple . Having beautiful gundam. Parking good. Takes 1 to 2 hours average time.

Vinayagar🙏 😇Special place you feel fresh here crowd in weekend you have to wait 1 hour. They maintain temple very hygienic.

Very big temple. Timings mentioned in Google are not correct. Carry dhoti if you want to be a part of any Pooja.

It is one of the most popular temples in Andhra Pradesh. If you visit Tirumala, must visit as it is closer. Not very crowded. If you take 150 Rupees ticket, you can get slightly closer and the wait is less. It is managed by TTD and things have changed in the last many years. It is popular among locals for weddings, vehicle pooja, satyam(truth) confirmation, etc.

It was my first visit to the Temple.

1. The connecting roads are extremely good.
2. The Temple has been renovated recently and it’s clean and beautiful.
3. Devotees are indeed damaging some of the things at Temple.

Darshan:

1. Unlike every other Hindu Temple, current govt has introduced multiple Ticket segments ( Free, 100, 150 ₹ per person)
2. On weekdays, there is very less crowd and can have good Free darshan. (Not sure about Festival times or weekends)

Prasadam:

1. They provide laddus and other Prasad at 2 counters near exit gate.
2. Annaprasadam is also served but has huge rush. Mostly due to less capacity I feel.

Facilities:

1. Didn’t use accommodations.
2. Temple kshetra is clean. People need to contribute and make efforts to keep it clean.

A very popular temple near chittor and people visit this temple on their way to Tirumala. Visited many times and visited recently after renovation.
Very well maintained, calm, divine and peaceful temple.
Different darshans available Free Darshan, Sheegra Darshan (charged @ 100 rs per person) and Athi Sheegra Darshan (charged @ 150 rs per person) and with specific timing for each Type of Darshan.
Mobiles are not allowed inside the temple and they have a Mobile deposit counter in front of the temple (deposit charge @ Rs 5 per mobile).
There are other temples beside main Temple.
Plenty of parking available.

Clean and neat temple..... Good atmosphere..... Good governanace by temple.... Management...good garedning.... Left side of the temple....

This temple is very beautiful. This temple is being renovated again. This temple is very famous and rich in history.I felt very good when I visited here.

Kanipakam temple is a Swayambhu Ganesha Temple with Deity inside a well surrounded by water. You will have buses to reach here from chittoor and Tirupathi.. No mobiles are allowed inside temple, you can find cloak room facility available beside temple. Free darshan, sheegra darshan -100/- and Athi sheegra Darshan -150/- are available. Right beside Vinayaka swamy Temple, you can see varada rajula swamy temple and Manikannteswara swamy temple..

Kanipakam is known for this temple and the history behind the Ganesha s idol here is that it is found in a water well. Hence it is Swayambhu. The temple has been very well developed now. On a regular day it will take around 20 mins for darshan but during the public holidays it is suggested to buy ₹100/- or ₹200/- tickets for special darshan.
