Rampa Water Falls

The ideal time to visit Rampa Waterfalls is from December to March, when the weather is most conducive for trekking and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Rampa Waterfalls The Semi evergreen forests of Agency track in East godavari District is blessed with many picturesque spots and perennial waterfalls, Rampa V.S.S is having high forest with Neelakanteswara and Rampa water falls. Sri Neelakanteswara Vana Vihara sthali is situated at about 4km from Rampachodavaram village of East Godavari District.

At a distance of 4 km from Rampachodavaram village and 29 km from Maredumilli, Rampa Waterfalls is a stunning waterfall in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the popular places to visit in Maredumilli and among the best waterfalls in Andhra.

Also known as Rampachodavaram Falls, the waterfall cascades down from a height of about 50 feet. Situated near Rampachodavaram village, this is the only coastal fall in Andhra Pradesh. One can take a dip in this falls amidst thick jungle is very refreshing. Water remains throughout the year in this waterfall and the downstream.

The waterfall is located in a dense jungle and can be accessed by jeeps. The drive through the dense jungle is an exhilarating experience. The road and the area up to the waterfall are maintained by local villagers. There is a small trek to reach the waterfall from the entrance. While climbing the flowing water stream will be at your right and there are several small waterfalls making the small trek more enjoying. It will be a 20 minutes climb to reach the main waterfall.

There is an ancient Shiva Temple named Sri Neelakanteswara temple near the Rampachodavaram waterfalls. A dance festival is organized every year on Shivratri day here where famous tribal dance Vela is displayed. During this dance, the costumes used by the dancers are very attractive.

A very nice waterfall. A unique one. There is thrilling and wonderful views of waterfalls as you climb up the mountain slowly.
The actual waterfall requires nearly 1km trek. Treaking beyond it is your wish. But try to get water and snacks in plenty. There are no shops nearby.

Beautiful place definitely a must visit if you plan to visit Maredumilli through rajamahendravaram.

Very wonderful place to enjoy with your friends.there is a hidden spot at the top of mountain.where there is a storage of water like swimming pool.But u need to climb to top.u need to trekking for 30 min to reach it.the water is also so clean at that top.

It's very beautiful full location in rampachodavaram. But walk carefully and don't feed to monkey 🐵 it's very dangerous

Last 3 year back no entrance fee ...and now entrance ticket ₹20 nearly half kilometres need to walk to see perfect waterfalls old people plz avoid while walking up ur heart rate will be hell.... need to carefull suddenly water flow will increase in waterfall perfect place to enjoy

One of the best places to chill... try to reach top, to experience the big waterfall & most beautiful sceneries..most people stop at middle but try to reach top there will another waterfall which will be less crowded and have better waterfall experience...

Rampa water falls is worth visiting . This is near rampachodavaram, Andhra Pradesh.. This is also very near to maredmilli. Entry ticket is Rs.20/- beautiful waterfalls and very nice place to enjoy weekends with family and friends

Very pleasant, enjoyed a lot at the waterfall. Climbed the hill for a short distance but it's awesome, can try to trek with friends. No need to bring drinking water bottles to near waterfall you can park them in the vehicle and enjoy the pure, natural tasty alkaline water.

Visited on pongal season, very rush. Visiting early hours will be better for car parking. Other wise we have walk long distance. Very cool and enjoyable location. Visiting with friends, families are very good. Don't go alone. Must visit place.

Great trekking experience and awesome view of Waterfall. Try avoiding on getting across on 5th Waterfall. It is dangerous.
