Prashar Lake Camping And Trekking

This place is awesome for trekking. One can go by bus in summer time closer to the temple, but in winter bus will not go to Parashar instead it will go to Baggi. After Baggi you have to trekk through the forest and climb hill. After a 9 km trekking you will reach Parashar lake. There is a small camping arrangement and a room too to stay. It can accommodate four people easily and it's very comfortable to stay. Be careful when you climb the hill in winter because it will be fully covered by visiting this place may be a lifetime experience for anyone.

Good place to visit trekk n camping at tha heivht of around 8000 ft frm sea level....view sre attractive n mind blowing...roads are very dangerous n in bad conditions...at the top nearby lake..u wl find eatables like fast food like maggie, prantha on a reasonable price...mst try once in lyf....

Good place to visit in summer and starting winter. Its Religious belief is related to Rishi Parashar. The island inside the lake moves here and there.

I have been there in that camp. They are caring about their customer. Too polite, please don't judge them. They don't know how to rent their things to customer, you need to ask them. They have many things anyone can easily rely on that. But yes need to improve the food.

Very good place to visit alone or with family many things to see here temple was very nice and island in lake is always moving from one end to another end

The beautiful Prashar Lake lies 50 km north-east of Mandi and 64Km south of Kullu.  The lake is situated at an avg. height of 2730m (8,960 ft) in the lap of mountains. The deep blue lake lies in a saucer shaped valley.There is a little floating island in between the lake which keeps on revolving and changes its position at regular intervals which is quite unique.
I recommend this place to all those who are going to visit himanchal pradesh.

Go there if you want to escape the hustle bustle of city .
this place is not as commercialized as manali or other hill station
short trek can be covered in 2-3 days
if you are in Delhi-NCR you are at better side.
just take overnight bus from Kashmere Gate to Mandi (Cost - INR 575/-)
Bus will take around 12 hrs to reach Mandi .
take bus from Mandi to Baggi (Cost around - INR 72-80 )
On reaching Baggi have a Breakfast and take atleast 3 bottles of water as you wont get water during trek . And trek duration is 4-5 hrs depending on your speed and stamina . Also carry snacks and high calorie chocolates .

Amazing place for family and students you can either reach there by car or do a trek from bagi village. I would recommend the later it takes around 5-6 hrs to reach prashar lake

Premium cafe within north campus. Opens till midnight. Few items are cheaper and remaining are at market rate. Veg And non-vegetarian both available.

This is God's place and a very nice place.
