Highest spot in Shimla, there are two ways to reach here, by taxi or car or by stairs ( direct from Mall road to temple with proper shade and pathway)
And if you are staying near by and you love trekking then must walk into the woods.

Caution: be aware of monkeys 🙏

The view from the temple is mesmerizing.

It was a great place to visit, especially when there is snowfall, amazing view and vibe. The aura of this place is amazing.
And you can access this palace without a cab service there is a pathway directly from Mall road in front of st. Christ Church, it's a bit long but you can save some money on it.

Visited here on my Himachal Trip.

The temple's serene surroundings, rich history, and beautiful architecture make it a must-visit destination for those seeking spiritual solace or a peaceful getaway.

History of the temple
After Lakshmana was cured, Hanuman went back to place the mountain in its original site. He rested on top of the Jakhu hill for some time. It is said that the top of the hill got flattened due to Hanuman's weight! The temple has been built around the place that is supposed to have the footprints of Hanuman.

Visiting Jakhoo Temple
in Shimla is an absolute must! The journey to this place is as beautiful as the destination itself. The serene vibes and the breathtaking view of the Shimla valley from here are beyond words. The temple, adorned with a magnificent idol of Lord Hanuman, is truly enchanting. However, be cautious of the mischievous monkeys around. Overall, a divine experience that shouldn't be missed when in Shimla.

It's a divine historical place located at Jakhu hill, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Around 2 km we need to walk to reach the temple. Once we reach the temple it's very peaceful. There is a largest statue of Bhagavan Hanuman beside the temple. One can feel energy of lord Hanuman inside the temple. There are lot of monkeys around the temple which are devotees of lord Hanuman. Jai Shree Ram

Jakhoo Hanuman Temple in Shimla is a really cool place where people go to pray and feel peaceful. It's on top of a hill, so you can see all around, especially after it snows when everything looks super pretty with the white snow.

The temple has a huge statue of Lord Hanuman. It's so big and looks awesome. Lots of people come to see it and say their prayers.

On Sundays and Tuesdays, they give out yummy food as a special blessing. It's like having a feast with friends and family.
Inside the temple, it feels really peaceful. There's a nice smell from the incense, and people pray quietly. It's a place where you can forget about everything else and just relax.

One of the best things about the temple is that it's the first place in Shimla where you can see snow. If you're there when it snows, it's like being in a winter wonderland.

Very divine place of worship in top of Jakhoo mountain. Reaching there by own car is bit difficult as slope is very steep and has hairpin turn. Once you reach there, you feel very calm and peaceful 🙏🙏

Situated at the height of Shimla.
You can reach here by Ropeway from mall road, stairs from mall road or by car.
Although you go there by car, still you have to climb almost 300 stairs to the temple.
It was worth visiting there
Statue was lookin like giant "भीम रूप धरि असुर संहारे, सिया राम जी के काज सँवारे"
