Must try their pastries. This is the oldest bakery in Shimla. We tried their apple almond cake and cheesecake. Must try apple almost cake. We had this thrice when we were in shimla. We also tried their hot coffee rum which was too good; my husband always look for this drink where ever we go but he hasn’t found matchable to what they offered.

Must try their apple almond cake with Dark Rum Hot chocolate.

Chilled Rum Coffee is worth trying with Persian Lamb Biryani

Tucked in a tiny space on Mall Road Shimla, less than a minute away from The Lift that gets you up, this bakery is indeed THE BEST one you will find in Shimla if you’re looking for authentic flavours.

Their Dark Rum Hot Chocolate is the most sold item on their menu in winters but for year around pleasure you’ll get Apple Almond Cake, Mocha Chocolate Fudge and a slice of Banana Walnut amongst other flavours.

If you’re someone who likes egg, don’t miss their Cheesiest Cheese Omlette served with Cheese Bread. It maybe the tastiest I’ve ever tasted. In case you’re a pure vegetarian, have the Cheese Bread anyway.

They were also serving Afghani Veg Biryani and a bunch of soups which I vouch to try the next time I’m there!You could try the Persian Lamb Biryani as well if you’re a mutton glutton

Embassy is the oldest bakery in shimla. It has an iconic cheesecake. I would suggest getting the rum cake as well. The overall ambience is quite cozy and romantic. I love the vibe here. It's near the lift to Mall road. If you go to Shimla, it is a must go place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Embassy Bakery in Shimla, located on Mall Road. I was excited to try their renowned baked goods, and I must say that I was not disappointed!

One of the highlights of my visit was trying their blueberry cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was buttery and crumbly, while the cheesecake filling was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The fresh blueberries on top added a lovely tartness that balanced out the richness of the cheesecake.

Apart from the amazing taste, I also appreciated the presentation of the dessert. The cheesecake was beautifully decorated, and the portion size was generous, making it a great value for money.

The ambiance of the bakery was also very pleasant, with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend Embassy Bakery for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying dessert in Shimla. I will definitely be returning to try more of their baked goods in the future!

An interesting palace . A must visit for homebaked style bakes.

We had a take away from here as it was closed for dine in when we visited. The desserts were worth the hype we had been hearing while searching for places to eat in shimla. We got an apt pie, all fresh and fav taste, chocolate tart and cheesecake and a blue berry cheesecake, all very scrumptious. Would surely recommend to visit it on mall road when visiting shimla.

Though a bit on the expensive side but every penny of yours is going to count here....in the end you'll feel yourself amidst the beautiful aroma of baked cookies and hot rum coffee.
