Sub-Registrar Office, Kottayam (Additional)

My sincere appreciation of the Good Job by the employees of Registration Dept of Kottayam Municipality. On 3rd sept 2022 we went to Register my son's marriage which happened on 1st Sept. The employees were busy for the last working day before Onam, and a few employees came forward to help me , as I was a NRI had no time in hand. The following employees were the one volunteered to help me:Jebitha, Rajesh, Raani and Antony. With their help I got the Registration Certificate in 20 min which I think is a record. My sincere appreciation to these good samiritans, and to the Govt of Kerala- Kottayam Registration Office.

This additional sub registrar office is located on left side of the NH 183 on the way to kottayam to manarcad Just near to Sree Gokulam Residential apartments beside of Kanjikuzhi Bridge. This is a temporary office because the construction of official building for the same is progressing opposite of the Kottayam Civil station. About the Present office, it's not DA person's friendly, the office is situated on the third floor but no elevators are provided, very hard to climb the whole steps, especially for senior citizens. And lack of amenities are also a big constrain. Amble Parking facilities are provided .

Small office at prime area that is near junction. Good staffs, limited space inside the office. Some time delay is there at peak times. Very small parking area for this office at front. But vehicles can be parked on road side outside the building.

paper works were done like snail race, infact changes did occurred i believe. parking is an issue
