Apsara talkies used to be one of the more popular movie theatres in Bhopal. It was remodelled later and is now known as Jyoti Cineplex.

Still popular amongst the college going crowd due to its affordability. With newer theatres coming up in posh multiplexes, the place sure has lost some of its appeal and clientele amongst the affluent lot.

It's good. The talkies has changed a lot from 1981 to 2023. New chairs, comfortable sitting, food, space are marvelous. The staff is also strict and takes care.
