Beautiful view of mountains and lake. It is a very calm and peaceful place, no more traffic there because you have to take permission from the gate to visit the dam.
You have to carry water and food with you if you are going with family.

Beautiful place for a quick short trip near Tirupati. View is very good. No proper place for to sit. You can walk and enjoy the scenery. If you go when it’s cloudy, or during mornings it’s better as it’s not tooo hot.Not advisable to not go during summer as it is very hot.

There are many fields on the way. Beautiful place to visit. Good hangout place with family and friends.Its awesome place for to get peaceful and natural look you can enjoy this place.

A very beautiful place about 20 km from Tirupati city. It's a serene place and so soothing to spend some time looking around the reservoir and the Dam. Note: to visit the place u need to pass through a police college they won't allow visitors after 4-430 pm.

If you are planning short trip from Tirupati, the option will be Kalyani Dam. It was surrounded by hills , trees and water. It's a long bridge. You will reach to Dam from the Police academy. Very very nice place. Don't go on hot days. Suggested to go morning and evening in summer days. Must visit!!!

A nice place to hangout. From the main road, it is inside the police training college. This Dam is the water source for Tirupathi & Tirumala.

There is a parking lot with lot of shade. There was stairs, an elevated view just beside the dam. But it was closed. Else it would be very nice to click pictures.

One of the calm places surrounding Tirupati. The best time to visit post lunch is around 3 pm and spend time till evening..

Small dam near tirupathi build on swarna mukhi river. The drinking water to Tirupati supplied from here. Calm and peaceful place. Safety is an issue. Water will be there only in rainy season. No boating.Road is also not good

Beautiful place. More Adventure and fun in reaching the kalyani dam on off road trails and small water crossing. Be cautious and be vigilant about the surroundings since less people around. There is another proper way but it was closed when i visited.

Really it's good view, piece full place, I visited 4pm it's good time but I think morning 8to9Am get excellent view.
