Very own International cricket stadium of Chhattisgarh, situated in outskirts of Raipur. It is just few kms away from airport. It is the second biggest stadium of India and has 12 entry gates. As per our Indian team review this stadium can be compared with Melbourne. Also pitch is very suitable to play.

It's one of the best cricket stadium of India. Very well maintained ground and amenities. It offers ample parking space outside of stadium. I just had wonderful experience while watching internation one day cricket match between India and Nz

A few days ago I saw the match for the first time in the stadium, it was the final match of the Road Safety World Series. The match was between India and Sri Lanka. India won the match. The stadium is also nice and big, I really enjoyed watching the match. My experience here was very good, there was a parking arrangement too, the police of Chhattisgarh had made all the security arrangements.

It is the third largest cricket stadium in India and the fourth largest cricket stadium in the world. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 65,000. Inaugurated in 2008, the ground hosted its first match in 2010, when the Canada national cricket team arrived in India and played a practice match against the Chhattisgarh state team. In 2013, the stadium was announced as the second home venue for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has hosted several matches of the team since then.

Being 1st cricket stadium in Chhattisgarh state, It is also India's 3rd Biggest stadium. Initially it was used only for Domestic matches and used also for some IPL matches.

But now, stadium also hosting international matches as it hosted Ind vs Nz match in Jan 23.

⭐Really good stadium⭐.
This was my first time experiencing live cricket from the stadium.

The match viewing experience is really nice here which you don't get in a lot of stadiums in India because of the steel grid barriers which hampers the view, here there is no barriers.
Here you get a clear view from the lower level also and its even better if you sit in the 'V' just near the sight screen. I sat in lower level 6, I enjoyed the viewing experience.

Just note that mobile jammers are installed when an international match takes place. So you won't be able to make calls or connect the internet.

The cricket stadium is a one of the great addition to the jewel's in Chhattisgarh's crown. The stadium boasts third highest capacity among all the Indian stadiums. It is located in Naya Raipur around 15-20kms from the city. The stadium looks and feels beautiful due to attractive seating, theming and arrangements. The pitch here is regarded to typically support pacers and is know to be good batting pitch. It's a second home venue for the Delhi IPL team. There have been several International tournaments and games hosted here. Champions Trophy, RS World Series are a few to name. There is ample parking space in and around the stadium. There two routes to reach the stadium, and you could avoid the toll by one of it although in this route you will need to walk for atleast 1.5km from the parking area, while the other route a little longer though get's you straight to the stadium entrance. There aren't any developments in the vicinity to the stadium but in the process. All in all it's a great sporting experience to witness a cricket game here.

Dreamt to play, fortunately got to play as a professional here. And having played at different stadiums in India, our (Raipur’s) stadium has the one of the best ground and dressing room facilities.

Nice parking arrangements but the ticket counter was not so good during the match overall great place to visit
