Government Tourist Resort, Lengpui (Near Airport)

The perfect launch pad on your mission to discover everything west of Aizawl and East of Rawpuichip.

Please note, I am reviewing the place for the entire experience and not one off aspects such as cleanliness or food.

The place is just amazing, nestled in the jungle on a side slope, the resort is quite large with VIP suites, apartments and cottages.

The cottages are the best if you wanna tuck yourself away from civilization. Though my personal favorite is the VIP suites, with enough place to lounge around and a huge balcony to gaze into the jungle.

The food is something that needs work. For starters, like most places in Mizoram it's very less so, you may need to order for two people. Inflexible Timings for food also make it tough to plan outings and come back and eat, but th food is clean and the staff, once they get used to you, will also improvise some dishes as per your request.

The downers are a construction company office next door and lack of eating spots in the vicinity. But on the whole it's a great place for travellers to rest before moving on, on their journeys.

Great place to stay for business or family purpose, safe and secure place, cars always available for aizawl, w. Phaileng, mamit, lengpui airport. Food quality served here is very good. Staffs behavior is very much satisfying. Room service is great.

Great place for birding as you can spot so many of them in the large wooded campus itself
