It's the most beautiful place i have ever been to. So peaceful and scenic in its own. The hospitality really felt like home. I could have not been to any better place than Backwoods adventure camp. It felt so safe and warmly. Thank you so much for all the assistance and the best stay experience. 🙏🏻🌟🌟

This place lives up to all the positive reviews and more. The best experience of an offbeat experience around this area so far. The river is perfect for swimming, the food was delicious and Sumiran's hospitality was amazing.

This was my first camp in the backwoods. The journey from starting till the end was very good. I felt a different kind of peace after coming to the backwoods.

The sound of the river in the midst of nature. The chirping of birds, the sound of peacock every morning and evening which used to attract me a lot.

And whatever foods were provided to us in the backwoods will be memorable❤,That moment spent with friends will be a golden one for us.

I will definitely recommend to visit those people who are nature lovers like me, like to live among nature.

Let's start with arrival , welcomed us with bone fire and chicken Barbecue , once done with this , started for an evening walk with river sounds and peacock singing, The most lovable view was of Firefly , Excellent time spent with Partner Must visit once. Experience some adventure with them. Being a tour operator, I finally got the perfect Home stay where I can send my clients. Once som1 in they will love to stay good on Sumiran (owner ) My friend, we are there with u. Thanks for inviting us , Really it was a lovely weekend.

It was an amazing experience right from the beginning. We were greeted by Sumiran, the owner of the camping site and his pet dog Buster at the parking spot. We were famished by the time we arrived and were served with delicious Gorkha food which was prepared so well.
The ambience by the river was spectacular with the crystal clear water being therapeutic to watch.
In the evening, they prepped a camp fire for us and waited patiently till we were ready to have dinner.
The tents provided were really spacious and since we went during the monsoons (off season) we had the entire place to ourselves.
It was a great place and Sumiran and the staff along with their pet dogs Buster and Arnold made my first ever camping experience really memorable.

This is a wonderful retreat, food was amazing, the staff was friendly and the host had the charm to keep us there . Wonderful experience, you would really want to go there again and again. If you want to break from your schedule and be at peace with yourself this is the place . This place will offer you peace.

I felt the peace the serenity and the sound made by the river, it was like paradise. The hospitality is also excellent, I loved each second of my stay and will cherish the memories I made there all my life. I didn't face any problems as your worries are non-existent but I hope the people planning to visit don't create them.

SAFAR by Mulaqat had curated an Acoustic Evening at Backwoods Adventure Camp on 14th Feb, 2023. The event was a great success with the help of our host Sumiran Allay.

The campsite is located at a secluded spot in Bhalukhop. The best part about camping at Backwoods is there will be no intruders and you get the entire campsite to yourself. This place is a perfect fit for small gatherings or celebrations. The maximum capacity is 40.

There are a bunch of activities you can participate in such as birdwatching, river hike, fishing, rappelling. And evenings can be spent by the bonfire and devouring on some lip-smacking barbecue.

Overall, it is by far the best campsite we have come across in this region and it was an absolute pleasure hosting an event at Backwoods.

We recently stayed here for a night, this is by far the best site we’ve stayed on. If you value peace and tranquility with first class facilities and customer service this is the place for you. On clear nights we sat under the stars gazing into the sky.

Probably the most perfect spot to camp in and The countryside is beautiful, the weather is usually chill and sunny. The welcome from the owners is warm, helpful and friendly and you are made to feel at home and comfortable. The facilities are well thought out, clean and well appointed. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this site!!

Backwoods Adventure Camp's food service exceeded my expectations during my recent trip. The meals were not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared to suit outdoor adventurers. From hearty breakfasts that fueled our day to satisfying dinners around the campfire, every dish was flavorful and well-balanced. The camp's commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients added to the overall experience. I was particularly impressed by their vegetarian options, catering to a variety of dietary preferences. The culinary aspect of the camp truly enhanced our outdoor adventure, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The place is full off peace, all the stuff are so friendly, food was amazing, champ was clean, nice property must visit with friends and family..

Had a great and amazing time here, enjoyed the food, the music, the bonfire and the especially the barbeque.😊😋 Overall it was an adventure which will remain in my memories forever.❤

The place is located near the kholay(river) about 3 hours from Siliguri in the Samsung area of Kalimpong. Here you can hear the voices of nature and live around it.

The camp is very beautifully made with natural materials adding a soothing vibe to the whole experience.

This trip was the best birthday gift I could give to my lovely wifey.. It was the first and also a best experience of Camping, here for both of us.
Great Service, great homely organic food, neat and clean environment.
Thanks to the owner for a lovely jungle hiking and showing us beautiful birds.
The River beside the Camping Zone is a great bonus... I recommend any visit will be priceless, be it family, friends or Couples.. Ultimate!
