Sagar Sadan is a guest house owned by SPIC (Southern Petrochemical Industries Corp.) they welcome only company staff, government officials and guests of the government. You cannot book a room here otherwise. The property is situated on a large piece of land that is clean, green and stunning with flocks of peacocks roaming freely.

Most of the rooms are recently renovated (make sure you ask for a renovated room - if one is available they will be happy to give it to you). The renovated rooms are better than most 3-star hotels. Spacious, clean and modern with split ACs and smart TVs. Bathrooms are also clean and modern with geysers for hot water. All rooms come with balconies that overlook beautiful lawns. You will catch a peacock outside your room from time to time, dancing or simply strolling.

As for the food, they have a little dining room that is very clean, where meals are served as a buffet. The food tastes like home food with a different spread everyday that is delicious and healthy. The spread consists of mostly vegetarian dishes with one non-veg dish. The staff is extremely polite and courteous - with the service verging on royal treatment. They are also happy to accomodate any reasonable request and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Some things to note:
- The property is extremely far from the main road and you will need a car to go anywhere once you are dropped off.
- There is no signal on Airtel or Jio and the in-house wifi comes and goes.
- There is a small beach at the back of the property which you can walk down to during dry seasons.

All-in-all, I'd give 5 stars without a second thought. I have stayed here a couple of times and I have felt absolutely at home.

It is completely a private companies relaxation and meetings spot. The ambient over here is very nice and peaceful. The food provided here is awesome. But as it is private recreation part of SPIC Ltd, public peoples cannot use and enjoy it.

Adequate safety measures have been taken.. Without mask we were not allowed to enter into the premises. Hnadwasingprovision has been made at the entry point
