Siddheshwar Shiva Temple

HAR HAR MAHADEV. This is a temple of LORD SHIVA adjacent to silchar karimganj highway. It is over crowded in Shivaratri and Baruni mela. On the back side of temple river Barak is flowing and on the front side a BG train line from Agartala to Guwahati is located. This train line is very much risky to cross when the Mandir is over crowded because no level crossing is there.

This a historical Holy Tample and very famous place in Barak Valley near by Badarpur Over Bridge. There is a Mela called Baruni Mela celebrate in every year.

It's a very peace place bank of Barak River.

This temple is near to both train line and bus line..
Some people who do not able to visit the temple Those people can see the temple from a distance.

Fact- It is a very old temple. According to Indian “Purana”s, King Sagar ruled this land during ancient times. At the same time, a great saint Kapil made his Ashrama in this place. King of Gods Indra was the only person who arranged Ashwamedh Yajna for 108 times. None other than he was able to perform this Yajna for so many times. But king Sagar started to arrange that Yajna for the 108th time.

Very nice temple on the banks of narak river. The temple is very old and has a lot of positive energies and spiritual significance. One can go till the river bank with the help of the stairs.
