Rabindranath Tagore University Hojai

I have done my graduation (eco honours) from this University.Best University in Hojai area.

The existing HOJAI COLLEGE is upgrated to Rabindranath Tagore University on September 2017... RabindranathTagore University is the only University of hojai.... RabindranathTagore University is located near Hojai stadium and famous COLLEGE ROAD connects The university with main road of hojai. Currently only PG course available in the university M.A Assamese.

Very good nd beautiful place for higher education system.I am also a student of B.sc 3rd semester from Zoology Department ❤

This is one of the best college in this area

High quality education will be given here in next few years. It is upgraded from Hojai College which is established in the year 1954. And if want to know more come and visit to See the beautification of this University.

*Worst maintained laboratory in the whole world.*
This university (RTU) is upgraded from Hojai College on 7 Sept. 2017. It has more than 4500 students now. Syllabus are upgraded to CBCS System. University has bachelor's and masters degree courses. Teachers are humble and very labourious(some are argumental);but numbers of teachers are less. New infrastructure is building up in the campus. IGNOU, IDOL and KKSHOU centres are also present. The new campus for post-graduation will in Sagar Basti, Hojai in coming years.
We have a request to respect VC sir to recruit more permanent faculties and more staff members as due to less number of faculties not even single syllabus are being completed.
Both students and faculties are in chaotic conditions. We also want to request sir to update the library as all books are outdated (Science students are more hampered as both laboratory and library are outdated). There is already one batch in the last semester of post graduation and it has a little equipment in the lab as of no upgradation.
Boys hostels are also lacking which is highly required.

More importantly the government of Assam declared this as a university in 2017 but the irony is that it is not funded by UGC which is laughable. As maximum students come from Village area to study here and the admission fees is more than 20 thousand and has 10 thousand per semester. I will request VC sir and committee panel to look into this matter.

The surroundings built nature and the nature decide the quality of the education and imparts its essence to everywhere. Teachers' and students are pillar of that surroundings which built that nature. As I see this place has high potential and also a need to grow as education hub.

Just given 5* for being a student of this university and I love everyone. But only the request to the whole system be student friendly. Thank you.

This university is best in hojai district

Rabindranath tagor university at Hojai Assam is a good quality education system because as I am a Ex Student , l share my knowledge that The faculty of the university is excellent and praiseworthy, The University rule and regulations are strict, in future The same university growth develop for higher education. Infrastructure is poor since it is a new university which was a college earlier and construction is going on soon it will be a good university interms of infrastructure as well as in education also and the chemistry, physics particularly the science department is good.

This is a good University still with some drawbacks such as infrastructure and construction and also the University is full of dust and it is very harmful for the ones who are allergic to dust. As a whole this is a good University.

Yaa its a good institute
Yet it's infrastructure isn't completed
But its building gradually
The progress is fast and the department of chemistry is the backbone of this institution as it is so good

The only University in Hojai and now the name changed into Rabindra Nath Tagore University.
