Shaam-E-Sarhad Village Resort - Kutch

It's a beautiful resort. Little away from white desert but that's an advantage also. It's away from crowded place. The people there are so warm and hospitality is absolutely amazing. The food is so homely and tasty. I would only suggest the tents shud be little more maintained.

One of the best resort of Hodka. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Impeccable service. The Bathroom could be bettered though.

This resort is an absolute treat ! We had pretty much booked the entire place for a group of 20. Simple food, local musicians who regaled us with an evening of folk music, tents and thatched roof huts. A fantastic place to stay if you plan to visit Dholavira / Road to Heaven.

Had a very enjoyable stay here. The service staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Hotel room is clean. The view is amazing! Enjoyed the sightings of some birds. Stayed for 2 nights there and had a lot of fun during our stay. All in all, highly recommended for a relaxing and fun stay!

Well maintained mud huts. A lot of effort is put in to keep them clean. However, there was a large lizard in one of the huts. Maybe these creatures are inevitable is such structures in such locations.
Food was good.
Overall hospitality was excellent.

Good Place, Good Food pure indian

A highly recommended place near the Rann of Kachchh..it is a cooperative and not a private owned resort. The homes are done like the local homes, but the interiors are done keeping in mind the luxury stay of the guests. Every round Dungar gives you a private yard also. The food is simple and tasty. Highly recommended for a family stay or solo travellers. Very friendly staff and very peaceful stay.

Nice Tent city. 20 km from Dhordo. Food is good. As this tent we are using during winter and the temperature during December and January is low than I request owner to please arrange either heater or some other arrangement by which tent temperature during night you can increase. Place is near to road so little noicy during night time. Timing for hot water close time and break fast close time is same 9 am. Atleast make some gap and increase time for breakfast. But I feel real village atmosphere here. Staff is very good and cooperative.

By rural standards, this place is an absolutely amazing! Their food is simply superb (especially their Poha that's served for breakfast). It gives you a feel of rural Gujarat. Do try living in the traditional Bhunga; it's quite luxurious! The mud houses help prevent thw room from heating up at daytime. Their staff is also very cooperative.

Omg. What do I tell about this place. It is one of the oldest properties around white rann. Based on this concept, Gujarat Govt. has come up with the idea of Tent City. Service is outstanding, food will be proper kutchi food. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

A community managed beautiful resort that has kutchi traditional decors. They have mud houses and tents. Also they serve very good food, with kutch taste.

If you go there, do watch night sky outside the main door of the resort. As it is extremely dark outside, innumerable stars are seen in the sky.

If you want pure Kutchhi experience then you will love this place! It has simple & fixed menu...food is good... desserts are awesome! Try to stay in premium Bhunga, they are elegant yet ethnic! Other stay options are also good. Hospitality is great! Remember... this place is run by local villagers.... don’t expect resort like facilities that you generally come across.
