I would recommend visiting this place with children. It's informative and knowledgeable. Cart service is included in the ticket. They take you to each and every place in the zoo. It's very big and can't be completed in 1 day by walk. Also the best time to visit is in the morning as soon as it opens ,as all the animals are awake and can be seen.

It’s nice place though some part of it was under maintenance when we visited in February and Aqua portion was closed. But rest we enjoyed viewing all catagory of animals ranging from lion, hippo to zebra and giraffe. You can see birds from different countries at same place.

Kids enjoyed much. I suggest to visit this place in morning time cos atmosphere is lighter you won’t feel hot and animals are active - noon time is resting session for them too.

I allocated 2 hours to visit the bird park. In the end, I ended up staying 3, and it was not enough. It is a fascinating zoo containing many birds roaming either in very big cages, or entirely freely. It was amazing to see very rare birds completely in the open and not flying away anywhere. Apparently, they must be well treated and well fed. There was also an enclosed area within which many birds could roam freely.

A very nice place to enjoy for both kids and grown-ups. It is basically a zoo but with a slight twist as the enclosures were almost open and pretty far off. This place boasts of a wide variety of animals and including white tiger, asiatic lion, zebra, giraffe, rhino, emu, ostriches, etc. There is a separate enclosure for various birds and this was a unique experience as the birds were able to fly freely inside the big dome. It is worth a visit when we are at Statue of Unity.

It’s awesome. One of the best zoo to visit having multiple animals and birds from different parts of the world in addition to the ones that we have in India. There is separate area where only African animals are kept. Different domestic animals housing various birds from across the world. There is also separate enclosure housing various reptiles. Clean and Well maintained area. However, the arrangement of golf cart to visit every Nook and corner is not available, which shall be done due to cover the vast area.

Loved visiting this place with kids . Variety of exotic animals , reptiles and birds kept in near sight glass cages .

It demands a full day to cover the entire zoo . A great place for animal lovers & bird watchers .

The infrastructure is fabulous but it is better to visit the zoo in winters or in rainy season . Despite the availability of battery operated carts which offers you a ride in ticket cost you have to cover the significant distance on your foot also .

One of the best attractions at the Statue of Unity. A very nice planning has been done for developing this Jungle Safari Zoological park. Lots of types of animals, birds can be seen here which are kept in a very spacious comfortable environment. One can very easily observe the animal. Electric vehicles are provided for transit. Food mall is also available in the area.

Sardar Patel Zoological Park is very close to the statue of Unity, and has a Pet Zone right opposite of it. After viewing the statue, take a bus for Gate Number 4 and you will reach the zoological park.

It is a small zoo with an aviary and reptile zoo. The animal spotting is very easy, and they also provide complementary safari in Battery cars which drop you from one spot to another. At most a time of 2-hour is sufficient to cover the whole park.

I would recommend visiting given the low price of the ticket. (200rs)

Must visit attraction. Bird aviary is the best attraction where u can even get to play with some birds if lucky as they are not in cages. U can get down from the golf cart and walk around also as golf carts do not stop at all places. Ticket charge 200/- per person is worth. There is white lion, white tiger, giraffe, one horned rhino, zebra etc. there is a food court and virtual reality screen near entrance which is nice.

Jungle Safari is just awesome
You'll need at least 3 hrs to visit the entire place.
Try going as early as possible in the morning, after 11am you'll find most of the animals/birds resting.
Do carry a credit/debit card as there's no option to purchase the tickets with cash.

Jungle safari tour (₹200) at the Sardar Zoological Park is a must do activity at the complex.
They accept only card payments though.
DSLR cam is charged extra.
The queue for the golf cart is quite long but fast moving. It takes you to spots which are a little too far to walk.
The Exotic birds’ enclosure is the attraction to look out for. The entire tour around the park can take close to 2 hrs.
The park is a zoo but gives the impression of being a safari.
Tip: It can get quite sunny. So make sure you have enough protection.

The Sardar Patel Zoological Park, is a sprawling beautifully designed park, on the banks of the river Narmada. The terrain is hilly & the area of the park is quite large, about 300 acres according to someone I spoke to. The enclosures are well designed, and spread around 7 levels. The park has carnivores and herbivores, & beautiful Aviary.

It's a nice place to spend with family and kids, but make sure u carry water bottles and snacks because there is a lot of walking to do inside. There were more animals, specially the birds section was so much fun to visit.

Fantastic destination for nature enthusiasts. Unlike city zoos, here the enclosures are very large for wild animals. The park as such is still in development so some exhibits are currently empty.

The entry ticket is 200₹ and to explore the Zoo you must have strong legs as most of the parts you have to cover on feet.
The battery vehicle is available for some of the parts. I went to the zoo especially to see a giraffe but he died two days before that day.

We visited there on 10/09/23 and enjoyed very much. There are so many animals, birds and other creatures. This place is very organized while it is spread in a huge area. electric polo Carts are available for senior citizens and for any needy person. Overall good place to visit. Dont miss it.
Jungle Safari can be visited only by the Bus. It is in the internal area of Ektanagar. From Shrestha Bharat Bhavan, one has to take a bus(Free) to the Statue main Bus stop. There are different stops taking to different attractions. Jungle Safari, Valley of Flowers, Maze Garden, Dam view point and Glow garden are nearby. So visit can be planned on one day for these attractions.
There is a electric polo cart service a little further after you enter the main gate - on the left just after the two enclosures on your left and right. Some carts take you for a full round while Some leave you where you started. The Giraffes and Kangaroos are behind the big sitting area with benches.
