Maa Bhattarika Shakti Peeth Temple, Badamba

The temple is situated on river bank of Mahanadi.Maa Bhattarika worshipped as a manifestation of Shakti. On the top of the hill there is Hanuman temple and goddess in gumpha(small cave). The top view is catchy. Don't visit during rainy season as the temple submurged.

One of the best place ive ever seen , visit it in morning time or u can visit in evening for sunset view.

There is a hill back u can go trekking too.
Not safe during flood times so do check before u go during flood in mahanadi or else its a year long beauty that hold you for that moment .

What a beautiful place it is! The temple of maa bhattarika is situated near the bank of river Mahanadi....one of the best places I have visited till now in odisha..one should definitely go. it is very sad that our odisha tourism don't highlight such places...

Maa Bhattarika temple is a very very well known and most famous temple in that area... The place is very very amazing and the scenery is very beautiful here... You can get a positive vibe here... So many people visit here daily... This is more famous because the Mahanadi River is near this temple and when flood comes here the entire temple drowned into the river... Many shops are opened near this temple you can get any type of tasty food here and also a park is situated near the temple and you can chill there with your friends and you can feast here also.... A very nice and must visit place... 😍😇🥰

One of the best temple of Odisha. The architecture of the temple is very beautiful. Neat and clean area. In rainy season the water of the river comes towards the temple and some part of the temple invisible due to flood. Temple is very beautiful.

A very beautiful temple of maa present on the banks of river Mahanadi. It has a small hiking route to top of hill which leads to three beautiful temples amid forest. A lovely getaway for a day from the city life to have a peaceful day. This place has picnic spot where groups can cook and have a lovely lunch with amazing view.

Situated on the Banks of the Mahanadi, Maa's temple is certainly worth a visit, even if you're not the one for Pooja.There is also a watch tower from which one enjoys the beauty of the Mahanadi. One can also enjoy some boating in the river.

If you're coming from Cuttack or Bbsr the route through Athagarh is also quite enjoyable with abundant greenery around( Be cautious at the bends though and avoid night time).

This the Temple of Maa Bhatrika Devi along with many small temple around the hill.

Nice Nature view and the place is really very neat and clean.

'Anna Prasada' is available for bhaktas in the hall.

Boat Ride is also available on the banks of Mahanadi.

Temple location is a superb place. Previously i said the suggestion. If it will work then more tourists will come. Another thing there was boating. Maybe you will pay the pilot & spend time in the river.

Located at the bank of Mahanadi river Maa bhatarika Shakti peetha is a temple/Shakti peetha dedicated to hindu goddess maa bhatarika worshipped as a manifestation of Shakti. The environment is quite peaceful. I visited when it was evening and the place was not that much of a rush. The good part is visiting the river side. It really looks good when it's evening. One can see the beautiful sunset between the mountains far from the river bank. The place has also been provided with a picnic spot and is convenient to cook and spend some good time. Overall the experience was good.

It's very beautiful place. It's located near Mahanadi temple. You can see scenic view of Mahanadi with nature surrounded by the temple. Due to covid few people are coming.
