Reddy kings' Heritage Museum Kondaveedu

It's a very good hill station, which not only gives historical information about reddy kings, but also a very good place for kids to enjoy a lot. Only the thing is for having food proper shelter is not there. Please be careful about monkeys.

Must visit place for history enthusiasts. It is around 27 km from Guntur city. The road is good although it is single road from Phirangipuram.
If you want to take public transport, either from Guntur or Narasaraopet, you can take train or bus, which are operated at regular intervals. Get down at Phirangipuram and you can engage auto till the museum.

Free parking is not an issue for four wheelers or two wheelers. Entry ticket is Rs. 10 per head.
There is a book shop inside and you can buy books on Kondaveedu fort and it's Rulers.
You will get lots of information on Reddy Dynasty, who ruled the area. A good number of old coins dating back to East Indian Company time were donated to this museum by Locals and these are displayed nicely.

One of the best museum I had seen,collection of Reddy kings statues, currency items,equipments are good,photo gallery,maps are good,pleasant environment with greenery,Reasonable entrance ticket.

Just 8 km from Kondaveedu Fort. After visiting the fort we planned for Museum, That is an awesome experience in that Museum.

The Reddi kings ruled coastal and central Andhra for over a hundred years from 1325 to 1448. At its maximum extent, the Reddi kingdom stretched from Cuttack, Orissa to the north, Kanchi to the south and Srisailam to the west. The initial capital of the kingdom was Addanki.

Museum is amazing. They have displayed everything they found in the ruins. They also have a model of the fort.

Really a nice place taking us to the Grandeur of the Reddy Kingdom and worth visiting.
