I am one of the ex student of this institute. To be very truthful it can be rated as one of the best institute in entire Arunachal Pradesh or say entire Northeast India. The environment here is simple and I believe a student should always live a simple life.

More than 300 girls from Arunachal Pradesh are studying under CBSE syllabus from Class-1 to Class-10. Dedicated Mataji's (lady monks) and teachers are working tirelessly from last 30 years to impart bharatiya sanskar along with practical education to our future generations. I saw the spirited & jubilant performance of students during Janmashtami function and how they were debating in Sanskrit. Frequent power cut is a problem. Few solar street lights have been donated recently. After installation of rainwater harvesting using government help water crisis has eased a little. Parents feel their wards are better off and safe here rather than in their own house. Food provided is nutritious. The approach road from Jaipur (Assam) to Khonsa via Deomali is very bad. Inner Line Permit is required for entry. Approach road from Margherita to Khonsa via Changlang is longer but much better. Avoid night time travel. Saw local bus leaving Khonsa at 6:00 AM.
