You feel you are being hosted by someone who really values his guests. This food joint is being run by a very humble man and his team who know how to greet the people cheerfully. Paranthas for breqkfast here are the best. You csn also have good lunch or dinner here at a very genuine price. You will really feel happy after eating here, because it is how the owner makes you feel with the way he greets and says thankyou. They accept payments using phonepe bhim upi also.

One of the best places to try street food in Shimla.
On asking about their speciality they prepared Himachali Food for us which included aloo matar (himachali style), madraa (himachali style rajma), himachali kadhi (kheru) and tawa roti.
Not only the rates are cheaper here compared to other places on mall road, their warmth in the service made us to eat there daily for the 10 days stay.

Great food at budget price. Breakfast and dinner were both good and food is hygienic. Must go with best cheap option

Ajay dhaba serves good quality tasty food at budget that doesn’t break your bank. You literally can eat all meals of your stay and still not get bored. (Exactly what we did 😜)

Best place to dine for lunch at such a affordable price in shimla mall road

It may go unnoticed at your first glance, situated on Mall road; This eatery has more then good food to offer. The chef is a superhuman with a refreshing attitude. He said no when we asked him to pack n keep the food as we wanted to collect it on our way back. He said he wanted us to taste the food and will then pack it in front of us and so he did just that. For those who choose to eat there itself are offered suggestions, he is full of affection while feeding and his energy is contagious :) what i also noticed was his affection for those working for him. May u relish your meal to the heart's content and feel the kind soul's hospitality.

Most amazing parantha's i had at this small and humble tea stall. Bf was so hot and tasty. With quick service and modest surroundings. Loved the experience.

Absolutely outstanding dhaba. Small place, brilliant food and parathas. The best part, all of them smile genuinely. And the love and happiness translates into the food.
We drove and tried multiple places between Chandigarh and Shimla. Were disappointed mostly. And this place blew the minds.
It's not a stall as the name suggests. 2 shops adjacent. Go to the Ajay one.

Guys, yesterday i visited this small simple looking dinner place called ajay tea stall. The owner is sooooo nice i just cannot tell you, he prepares the food so nicley and lovingly. The taste is just like home made food. Must try for everyone for breakfast lunch and dinner

Fantastic small dhaba. The owner/cook is a very energetic person and keeps you entertained. He asks the customer to taste a sample before adding spices and salt accordingly. Food quality and taste is good. Highly recommended.

The best economical place on mall road when others are too expensive. Even when you are travelling you can survive on fast food alone . This place provides homely food and hope they start non veg soon

The main owner of this shop is very funny, talkative, friendly and welcoming. Every staff member is so nice and sweet. The first restaurant where they gave our cuisine in a bowl to first taste if it is fine or not. The place is quite small and congested which can accomodate only max 15 people but still people wait outside because of their food quality. It is on the mall road. ☺

Taste, rates, values, hospitality, entertainment and what not, this place is packed with everything. You won't feel a need for tv or live show here because the owner keeps u engaged and entertained while cooking in the open kitchen set-up. You won't get such quality and quantity of the food anywhere on mall road.

Best pure veg punjabi food at an unbelievable low price. The chef (owner) is very welcoming and prepares and serves the food with much love. The food quality and taste was way better than what 5 star restaurants serve. Kadhai Paneer with 3 butter tandoori roti and Dal Fry Jeera Rice for just a total of 400 rs and with such quality is exceptional. Highly impressed!

Now this is an amazing place to explore in shimla and especially if you are in a tight budget this place is the one for you and in my opinion you won't find best like this anywhere

The behaviour of staff is amazing , the owner is such a personality ,he keeps entertaining everyone.
