The temple is quite impressive. However, I'd like to share a cautionary note – avoid parking in front of shops near the temple. I made the mistake of parking in front of a shop because the owner insisted it was the designated parking spot, only to later pressure me to buy something from the shop. I had no intention of making a purchase. To make matters worse, when I returned from the temple, he had another car parked in a way that blocked my exit from the parking area.
They was big parking area, 200 meters after temple.

Divine Sri Mahalakshmi temple. Lot of History and power. Please buy the vegetables available near the temple. We found very fresh and cheap vegetables, with good quality. Amma’s shrine is an added divinity.

Our visit was on Friday, we reached the temple by 10.am in the morning, there was a very minimal rush at the temple we had dharshan of Mahalakshmi within 10-15min.

Also visit Lakshminarayan temple, Renuka Devi temple and the yoni nagaraja and visualize the deity laksmi foot steps incarnated on the rock near the place.

By 11.00 the headcounts started increasing and by 12.pm there was a huge crowd where the waiting queue was a few meters long, and the waiting time would have been a minimum of 45min to an hour, so plan your visit accordingly....

It's very pleasant and blessed in this temple.
After waiting for long time in the Q you feel very blessed feel when you see goddess Mahalakshmi
But sad thing is devotees offer flower and incense are returned to out side shops and there are reselling that to other devotees.
We can also see ganganatha , renuka devi , and lakahmi padha you can also go and take blessing.

I had visited the Mahalakshmi temple, thirty years ago. We could see the Lakshmi temple and the teetha dam. Now, a lot of development has happened in the past thirty years. We can see a fully developed and get blessings of Mahalakshmi. The roads are good to travel using own vehicles from Bangalore. The government and private buses are available from Tumkuru and Koratagere. A lot of autos are available from the state highway cross near Koratagere (around 5 - 6 kilometres from Goravanahalli). There was not much rush in the afternoon time on Friday and we can get the blessings of Mahalakshmi without waiting in a queue. Several women offer saree to Mahalakshmi for granting their wish. Kamalamma used to talk to Mahalakshmi in her dream after which the temple became famous among the locals and started worshipping Mahalakshmi. A small building is constructed where Kamalamma used to live. The temple will see a lot of rush on Friday and Sunday with many people visiting to get the blessings of Mahalakshmi.

Goravanahalli Laxmi temple is a wonderful place to visit, especially on weekdays when you can fully immerse yourself in its serenity. I highly recommend avoiding Fridays and weekends, as it tends to get crowded during those times. The road from Bengaluru to the temple is excellent, making the journey of approximately 1:30 hours a smooth and enjoyable one.

One of the standout features of the temple is the ample parking space available, with a reasonable fee of ₹30 for cars. This ensures a hassle-free experience for visitors. Additionally, if you have extra time, I suggest exploring the nearby attractions such as Devarayana Durga hill and Naama chilume, which add to the overall charm of the area.

Overall, the Goravanahalli Laxmi temple offers a tranquil and spiritually uplifting experience. Plan your visit on weekdays for a more relaxed and immersive experience, and make sure to explore the nearby attractions to enhance your trip.

Time :- Nothing to worry on timings.

Goravanahalli Lakshmi is a beautiful and powerful temple.

It takes approx 1.30 hours to reach from Bangalore. There is plenty of car parking space. I suggest to visit this temple post 7 pm as crowd will get subsided especially on weekends.
I planned for devaraysnadurga saw sunset and then planned to this temple.
There is good historical relevance to this temple.

Remember to see and pray for God which is behind the murti too. This is in a frame kind of setup behind the main idol kept.
There are lot of shops around selling Pooja items.

There is also free food service for all devotees so check on timing and plan accordingly.

Let Goravanahalli Lakshmi bless you you too.

Beautiful temple and excellent maintenance. Powerful deity and people flock this temple. Temple is a bit small but there are ample resting places outside the premise. Ample car parking facility around the temple at a charge of Rs 30. There are many shops to supply pooje items and toy shops. Nearby the temple is Teetha dam a large reservoir, great view. Roads to the temple are excellent and wide. Good for a day trip and combine with Devarayana Durga.

Goravanahalli Mahalakshmi temple is a serene and divine place to visit with family. It's located approximately 2hours from Bangalore. As this is COVID time personally we didn't face any rush or inconvenience. Close to this place there is another Lord Srinivasa temple. Also you can visit the dam. Most part of the dam is closed right now. However you can watch some beautiful sunsets at this place.
