A Revenue division is headed by Revenue Divisional Officer in the rank of Sub – Collector in Cadre of I.A.S or a Deputy Collector. He is the Sub Divisional Magistrate having jurisdiction over his division. An administrative Officer in the Cadre of a Tahsildar assists in administration.

Highest ranking revenue Officer of the sub division. He is also sub divisional magistrate excecutive magistrate.

Less staff but good performance

It is regretted to note that RDO office in Perithalmnna is not attending the calls of the citizens. It is not understood why a phone is installed over there.. The same dilemma is continuing over there even after new faces have joined there. Why it is happening like this. You may just dial their office and check what I am telling is right or not. It is quite necessary and mandatory that they should serve the public as they are also paid by our tax money like others. Nobody bothers there and does not bother at all to help the public. This is the way an office should be?. Very sad. We expect some care some consideratiom to attend the phone. We expected all these during the tenure of
our present govt. Hope some action will be taken by the higher aurhorities.
