Situated in Bon Hooghly, this institute is a legitimate place for people who want to learn Spanish. The institute follows the European framework and is a authorised Siele examination centre. The teachers are experienced and very helpful. They put focus on all round learning- reading, writing and speaking. The institute only teaches Spanish and there are native Spanish speakers brought in for first hand experience of interaction with them. I will definitely suggest people to join this institute.

The class was very structured and organised. Sometimes, one might get overwhelmed but our teacher Kavya was their to help us and give us time to understand.

I studied A2.1 with ISS in January, and it was a great learning experience. My teacher, Sonam, was very knowlegeable, and guided us through the concepts with a lot of skill and ease. Reading, writing, listening and speaking were equally stressed upon, and the tasks given to us were meaningful and improved our understanding of the language. All examinations are conducted seriously, based largely upon the DELE exam. The administration is very helpful and responsive, and there a lot of batches going for every level, catering to your preferred timings. I highly recommend this institute for anyone who wishes to learn Spanish, and especially for aspirants of DELE.

If Spanish is the language you would want to learn, then Institute of Spanish Studies is the place to be in. Having completed Level A from ISS, I am eagerly looking forward to doing the next levels from here. ISS is a top place in Kolkata to connect to the Spanish speaking world, especially for the laymans. The instructor is extremely patient and attentive to each and every students of the batch and all the coordinators are extremely helpful. With growing age, the capability to learn a new language decreases, keeping that in mind, the course is designed in such a way that it never rushes you to the end. I hope that someday, I will be able to speak Spanish as fluently as the instructor himself and I hope to continue my journey with ISS through the next levels of the course.
